Big Brother kicked off its 24th season in 2022 and it shows no signs of slowing down. The series takes regular house guests and puts them into competitions, where they form alliances, and all compete for the big cash prize at the end of the season. However, while everyone wants to win the money in the end, there is more to win by appearing on Big Brother.

This reality TV show has a massive fanbase and this means the most popular houseguests have a chance to become Instagram famous. One of the top goals for people who go on reality TV shows is to become celebrities and make money as social influencers, and there are several men from the 24 seasons who have achieved this goal.

This only includes the cast members of regular Big Brother shows and not the ones involving celebrity houseguests.

Jeff Schroeder (Season 11) - 248,000 Followers

Jeff Schroeder became famous thanks to his appearance on Big Brother season 11, but he did a lot after that to help build up his Instagram following. Jeff didn't win that season, but he did win the "America's Favorite" votes. Jeff returned in Big Brother's 12th and 13th seasons as well.

He then gained even more followers when he started hosting an online recap show called Big Brother Live Chat in season 14. He also took part in The Amazing Race 16 and currently works as an online talk show host for Daily Beast Live. His IG posts are mostly either of his family or his hosting gig.

Cody Nickson - 249,000 Followers

Cody Nickson showed up on Big Brother 19 and while he didn't win the season, fans did vote him as "America's Favorite HouseGuest." A former Marine, he was an instant fan favorite and returned for a POV competition the next season before going on to win The Amazing Race with his future wife, Jessica Graf.

Cody has over 249,000 Instagram followers. Most of the posts on his page are of him and either Jessica or the two of them with their three kids.

Paul Calafiore - 275,000 Followers

Paul "Paulie" Calafiore showed up on Big Brother 18 and ended up making it all the way to Day 79 before his eviction. He is the brother of Cody Calafiore, who was the runner-up in Big Brother 16, and who has more IG followers than Paulie. However, Paul isn't doing too bad.

He has 275,000 Instagram followers. His page is full of either photos of him in various stages of undress, or him at special events, including several from his sister's recent wedding.

Paul Abrahamian - 292,000 Followers

Paul Abrahamian (they/them) was a mainstay on Big Brother for a long time. They were in five consecutive seasons of Big Brother, starting with their role as a HouseGuest in Big Brother 18. They returned the next season as a swap-in contestant. They also showed up on two spin-offs and in Big Brother 20 with a special appearance.

Paul remained very popular outside of the Big Brother house, appearing on shows like The Bold & The Beautiful and the game show Candy Crush, and has their own band. Paul's Instagram page is all about their band, Dead Skull, and it has 292,000 followers.

Faysal Shafaat - 301,000 Followers

Faysal Shafaat made his debut on Big Brother 20. While he spent most of the season struggling through the competition, he made it to Day 72 before his elimination. However, while he seemed almost clueless on Big Brother, his athletic abilities gave him another chance at popularity.

Faysal has 301,000 followers on Instagram, and that might partially be thanks to his appearances on The Challenge. He was on three seasons, finishing fourth twice and then getting disqualified when he attacked a fellow competitor.

Zach Rance - 321,000 Followers

Zach Rance was originally a contestant in Big Brother 16 and ended up finishing in ninth place when his closest ally Frankie Grande betrayed him. Before his elimination, he became a quick fan favorite thanks to his funny personality and his relationship with Frankie.

While he didn't return or move on to other major reality shows, he remains popular on Instagram, with 321,000 followers. His posts mostly show him shirtless and either by the water or in the gym.

Derrick Levasseur - 352,000 Followers

Derrick Levasseur showed up on Big Brother 16 and he proved to be a great player. He made it all the way to the end without ever getting nominated and he went on to win by a vote of 7-2, the first person in history to achieve this status. It has carried over to his popularity on Instagram, where he has 352,000 followers.

Derrick has since made special appearances on the show in four different seasons. He further gained popularity when he took on the role of the host of a crime investigation show called Breaking Homicide on Investigation Discovery. His IG posts are a mix of family pictures and promotional posts.

Tyler Crispen - 412,000 Followers

Tyler Crispen has competed on Big Brother twice and he remains one of the most popular HouseGuests as far as Instagram followers are concerned. He was the runner-up in Big Brother 20 and then finished sixth in Big Brother 22 as he was seen as a major threat.

Big Brother fans who follow Tyler on Instagram will get lots of fun photos of his enjoying life outdoors. He also has lots of photos with his fiance Angela Rummans, who he met on the show.

Cody Calafiore - 430,000 Followers

Only one Big Brother male HouseGuest has more Instagram followers than Cody Calafiore. That is because Cody is a legend for the show and has done a lot to build his fanbase outside of his success as a Big Brother competitor. However, his success was impressive.

He was the runner-up in Big Brother 16, where he made one of the worst game-ending mistakes in Big Brother history. He then won Big Brother: All-Stars, where he was only the second American HouseGuest to play a Perfect Game. Since the show, he started a podcast called The Winner's Circle with Derrick Levasseur. His Instagram page has 430,000 followers and he mostly posts photos with his wife and friends.

Frankie Grande - 2.1 Million Followers

The most followed HouseGuest in Big Brother history, male or female, is Frankie Grande and it isn't even close. Frankie was a HouseGuest on Big Brother 16 where he finished in fifth place. He later returned for a celebrity edition of the show.

That is why Frankie's Instagram account is so big, with over 2.1 million followers. He isn't just a Big Brother contestant, he is also Ariana Grande's older half-brother and a celeb in his own right. He also performed on Broadway in Rock of Ages and Mamma Mia!
