Kyland Young has won the eleventh Head of Household competition on Big Brother 23, which followed Alyssa Lopez's eviction by a vote of 3-1. This week, the Cookout made history on Big Brother 23 by reaching a Final 6 entirely made up of Black players. Many viewers doubted that they'd successfully pull this off when the alliance's plan was first devised in week one. But here they are, all six of them in the Final 6, which guarantees that the winner of BB23 will be a Black contestant.

Besides current HOH Kyland, the Cookout alliance is made up of Azah Awasum, Derek Frazier, Hannah Chaddha, Tiffany Mitchell, and Xavier Prather. Kyland is closest to Xavier, who has been his Final 2 all along. However, Ky and X. are arguably the two frontrunners of the season, so viewers expected that they'd take a shot at each other now. Meanwhile, Tiffany and Hannah wanted to target Kyland if something went wrong with Alyssa being a target. They didn't have to resort to taking out Ky, but the intentions are still there. Last but not least, Azah and Derek F. are now surrounded by competition winners in the Final 6.

Now, Kyland is the eleventh HOH of Big Brother 23. It's always hard to understand Ky as a Head of Household given that he tries to make everyone around him feel safe. With that said, Kyland's mindset should be fairly straightforward this week. It doesn't make any sense for him to target Azah or Derek F. at this point in the game. In turn, Kyland's mistrust of Tiffany has grown, so targeting her right now would make him feel more at ease in the game. If it happens that Tiffany wins the veto, Kyland's other target would be Hannah. After all, Hannah put him up on the block during the Double Eviction, and she happens to be Tiff's biggest ally left in the house.

Many viewers think it'd make sense for Kyland to take out Xavier now. If Ky gets to the finale with X., odds are that he'll lose the $750,000 grand prize. However, Ky has a huge chance to win BB23 if he's up against anyone else. With that in mind, it would be beneficial for Kyland to take out Xavier while he can, but it doesn't seem like he will go through with that option. Nonetheless, there's still a lot of game to be played, and this house is full of heavy hitters.

There's a second Double Eviction coming up next week on BB23, so HOH Kyland has a lot of important decisions to make right now. Furthermore, it's safe to assume that the players have absolutely no idea about another Double Eviction happening back-to-back.
