The Cookout has been dominating this season of Big Brother, but Kyland Young may not be a welcome member of the alliance for much longer. The six-person alliance was formed during the first few days after the players moved into the Big Brother house this summer. It is made up of Tiffany Mitchell, Hannah Chaddha, Azah Awasum, Xavier Prather, Derek Fraizer, and Kyland. As the group continues to send outsiders packing week after week, some drama has brewed amongst the six competitors.

Not long after the alliance was formed, Tiffany devised a master plan to ensure the alliance makes it to the final six together. Her plan consisted of each member of the alliance gaining an ally in a houseguest outside of the six. Then, these six pairs would each be seen as a duo to the rest of the house. The Cookout members have been prepared to be potentially nominated alongside their outside ally. However, they will always have enough votes to remain safe. So far, this plan has been quite successful for the group.

Now that it is Kyland's turn to sit on the block alongside his best ally, Sarah Beth Steagall, he is starting to cause some issues within the alliance. Kyland's close bond with Sarah Beth has caused many of the Cookout members to become frustrated with him. The drama heightened two weeks ago during the Head of Household competition. Azah asked Kyland to throw the competition to her, which Kyland initially agreed to do. Then, when the time came, Kyland did not give Azah the chance to answer the question in order to win. To make matters worse, Azah's close friend, Britini D'Angelo, was sent to jury under Kyland's reign.

The following week, Sarah Beth won HOH. To no one's surprise, Kyland had a large say in Sarah Beth's decisions that week. Together, the two decided to backdoor Derek Xiao, who was extremely close with both Hannah and Tiffany. Now, neither Kyland nor Sarah Beth have power, leaving them both on the block this week. Tiffany initially nominated the duo. Then, when her HOH was overthrown by the Coin of Destiny winner, Kyland and Sarah Beth came off of the block for a matter of seconds before being renominated by the secret HOH.

Since it is Kyland's first time being nominated all summer, he is not too happy. Despite his nomination being a part of the Cookout's plan, Kyland wants to come off of the block following the veto ceremony. This is annoying to the other Cookout members since they have all taken turns being on the block or have watched their close friends go home already. As the weeks go by, Kyland's game has been becoming more and more selfish. This ultimately leaves the rest of the Cookout alliance members in a tricky position. It seems Kyland's efforts to be taken off of the block this week stem from him wanting to be able to say he never sat on the block on eviction night during his potential final two speech to the jury.

Many of the Cookout members have quietly discussed their frustrations with Kyland lately. On one hand, some of them would not mind if he went home sooner rather than later. However, the majority of the group truly wants all six alliance members to make the final six together. Unfortunately for Kyland, if he continues to act in ways that are perceived as selfish to the rest of his alliance, he will most likely be the first of the Cookout members to be sent to jury once they have all successfully made it to the final six.
