There has been much speculation about whether Big Brother legend Janelle Pierzina would join The Challenge: USA season 2, but she now shares why she won't be appearing on the reality competition show. Janelle is widely regarded as one of the greatest contestants in Big Brother history. Known as the "Queen of Big Brother," Janelle competed in four seasons of the reality series. She became an icon when she made her debut on Big Brother 6 in 2005, placing third. Since then, she appeared on Big Brother 7, 14, and 22, making her mark on the game with her outstanding social skills, mental acuity, and physical prowess.Whenever reality shows cast former Big Brother contestants, Janelle's name is usually at the top of their lists, but she revealed that she will not be competing on The Challenge: USA season 2. In a tweet, Janelle wrote, "I’m not doing the Challenge USA. I was in the process, but it didn’t work out."

She explained that she is "running multiple businesses, and it’s too hard at this stage in my Career to be gone so long. Business and Family first always." Janelle concluded her post by wishing the new cast well saying, "Good luck to those participating!"

Several fans tweeted that they were happy that she will not appear on The Challenge: USA. Janelle's fans believe that she is too good for the show. Season 1 was heavily criticized for its chaotic competitions and unfair rules, especially during the final when several of the remaining stars quit. Twitter user Rodriguez wrote, "You’re literally the only castmember that could get me to watch that mess of a show." Other fans were glad that Janelle might now be available to appear on The Traitors season 2. Twitter user Kasen said, "This is smart because the contract would get in the way of Traitors. And we need you on that!"

Janelle has appeared on other reality shows after Big Brother, including The Amazing Race 31 and Snake in the Grass, but not The Challenge: USA. Since Janelle got married to Jess DeSanto in 2010 and later became a mom to her three children, she has been more hesitant to leave them for extended periods of time to do reality television. She is also a very successful real estate agent in Minnesota. Janelle has expressed that she would rather do a shortened legends Big Brother season than a full summer for these reasons. She also revealed that her children's sports commitments were the reason she didn't do The Traitors season 1.

Janelle's extraordinary reputation precedes her, so she will be a big target if she ever appears on a reality competition show again. The Challenge: USA requires intricate alliances and incredible mental and physical abilities, all of which Janelle excels at. However, it is admirable that she is putting her family and her career first in her life. Although Big Brother fans can't wait to see her on their screens again, they will have to wait until Janelle finds the perfect show to make her reality television return.
