Warning! SPOILERS for Big Brother 23 below!

Following Thursday night's live eviction episode of Big Brother, longtime host Julie Chen Moonves revealed to both the houseguests and the viewers a new twist that would be added to the game entitled the High Roller's Room. Competition beast and Kings' team captain, Christian Birkenberger, was evicted during the most recent live episode. Christian was back-doored by former Head of Household Derek Xiao. He was ultimately evicted by a 7-2 vote agains Sarah Beth Steagall.

After Christian left the game, Julie gave the houseguests a brief description of the new High Roller's Room that they would soon have access to inside the house. Fans at home get to be a part of the new twist. For the next four weeks, they have the opportunity to vote for their favorite houseguests to earn BB Bucks. The players will earn different amounts of BB Bucks depending on how many votes they receive. They will then be able to cash in their BB Bucks to play a casino game with the opportunity of winning a game-changing power.

Although the High Roller's Room has not yet made it's debut on the show, live-feed viewers got a sneak peek of what's to come. According to Heavy, the live feeds were down on Friday for six hours. It is assumed that this new room inside the house was unveiled to the remaining houseguests during this time. When the live feeds returned later on in the evening, fans pulled together information from different conversations to discover the outcome of the first week of the new twist. Derek Fraizer, Derek Xiao and Britini D'Angelo had the most votes amongst the houseguests, earning them each 100 BB Bucks. Ironically, Whitney Williams voted for Derek X. despite their falling out prior to her eviction.

The next three most votes earning players included Tiffany Mitchell, Hannah Chaddha, and Xavier Prather. These players each earned 75 BB Bucks while the rest of the houseguests earned 50 BB Bucks each. Britini later privately told the cameras that the first casino game of the twist was the "High Roller Derby." All of the houseguests had the option to play; however, who ultimately decided to play was not revealed to the house unless that individual decided to share. The game reportedly cost each player $50 BB Bucks.

From different conversations seen on the live-feeds, "Derek F., Kyland, Sarah Beth, Tiffany, and Claire all played for sure." This left Derek F. with 50 BB Bucks, Tiffany with 25 and Sarah Beth, Kyland and Claire with no remaining BB Bucks. These five houseguests were able to place bets on which of the six houseguests playing in Veto would win the competition in an effort to win a second Power of Veto. Head of Household Kyland ultimately took home the win, giving him (almost) all of the power this week. He now holds one Power of Veto while Alyssa Lopez holds the second.
