Speaking of puppetmasters, Paul is one of the more recently well-known orchestrators, and he was very successful in leading others. As an experienced returner, many of the houseguests wanted to work with him, and he was typically very persuasive, as many notorious puppetmasters are.
Though there is not always a key leader in every season, it takes a special kind of person to pull off such a master plan successfully. Though Paul didn't even end up winning the game and many fans thought he was robbed, it was clear that his gameplay was clearly effective by so easily controlling most of the players in the house.
