It has only been one week since the 16 brand new houseguests moved into the Big Brother house, and Brandon "Frenchie" French is already throwing shade at the other contestants. Frenchie is a farmer from Clarksville, Tennessee, as well as a huge fan of the show. Upon entering the Big Brother house, Frenchie won his very first competition. This win ultimately crowned him as one of four team captains.
After choosing his four fellow houseguests to be part of the Jokers Team alongside him, Frenchie, along with Britini D'Angelo, Azah Awasum, and Derek Frazier, competed in the first Head of Household competition. Frenchie continued his winning streak, which ultimately allowed him to be the first person to gain power this summer. Frenchie even successfully completed Julie Chen Moonves' bonus competition, which would have allowed him and his team to remain safe for not one but two weeks had he accepted the risk.
Since gaining power on night one, Frenchie has had a chaotic Head of Household reign. Now, live-feed viewers caught him shading his fellow houseguests. The Twitter user @squalo shared a clip taken from the live feeds in which Frenchie is seen walking around the kitchen alone. While it is unclear where Frenchie was prior to the video, he came from the area where the stairs leading to the HOH room are. In the background, many of the other houseguests can be seen and heard sitting and chatting in the living room together. Upon entering the kitchen, Frenchie mumbled to himself, "What a bunch of idiots." He then began to direct his comments towards production. Frenchie said, "You literally put me in a house with a bunch of people that are so easy to talk into stuff."
Frenchie continued on to claim production made the competition "too easy" for him with their casting choices. His quiet conversation to himself (and production) concluded with him saying, "Just write me the check." This comment essentially implied that Frenchie feels the rest of the houseguests have no chance at winning against him this summer. Live-feed viewers were left shocked after watching this scene. Although Frenchie has already disappointed fans through his numerous broken promises and messy lies, this put them over the top. They do not understand why or how Frenchie truly believes he will make it far in the competition with such messy gameplay. Even his own sister is not happy with how he has been playing the game so far.
Although Frenchie is not liked by many Big Brother fans, he truly thinks he is playing a good game so far. Unfortunately for Frenchie, since he did not take Julie up on the risk competition, he will soon lose his safety. Not only that, but Frenchie will also not be allowed to compete in the next Head of Household competition. He will have to rely solely on his team members to bring home a win to guarantee his safety for another week. If they can not do that, there is a high possibility Frenchie will be sitting on the block next week.
