The second evicted houseguest of Big Brother 23, Brandon "Frenchie" French, is regretting promising safety to so many of his fellow houseguests during the first week of the competition. Frenchie was evicted during the most recent live episode, which aired Thursday night. He sat next to Britini D'Angelo on the block. Frenchie was ultimately sent packing from Big Brother with a vote of 11-1.

Being a super fan of the show, Frenchie was excited to compete his heart out inside the house. On night one, he did just that. Frenchie not only won the title of team captain for the Joker's Team, but he was also crowned the first Head of Household of the summer. Frenchie's reign in power quickly went downhill. Just one week after being in power, Frenchie found himself sitting on the block come eviction night.

Now that he is out of the house, Frenchie has had time to reflect on where his gameplay went wrong. In an interview with Us Weekly, Frenchie admitted that he regrets making too many promises to his fellow houseguests during the first week. Throughout his chaotic Big Brother Head of Household reign, Frenchie found himself promising nearly the entire house safety for the week, which was ultimately something he could not hold true to. There were even times that he thought to himself, "Wow, I’m promising a lot of people."

Upon winning the first HOH competition, Frenchie had a clear goal in mind. He did not want to nominate any minorities or women. Instead, he wanted to ensure that a "meathead" went home in week one. Unfortunately for Frenchie, the Wildcard Twist was added to the competition, which ensured the safety of one of his main targets, Christian Birkenberger. Because of the limited pool of houseguests to choose from, which was due to not only his numerous promises but also the different safety twists on Big Brother this summer, Frenchie was forced to go back on his word. Luckily for him, he was able to pull off his initial goal. He said, "I’m just happy that it turned out the way it did because it turned out the way I wanted it to that week."

While he may have eventually reached his end goal of sending home a meathead in week one, Frenchie's chaotic week as HOH was ultimately what sent him packing. He found himself getting caught up not only in the power but also the numerous promises and lies he had made. His fellow houseguests saw how hard Frenchie was playing from the start. They did what they had to do in order to ultimately get a strong competitor out of the game early on. Now with Frenchie no longer in the spotlight inside the house, viewers will get to see how the remaining Big Brother houseguests are truly playing the game.
