Despite players being safe through one more elimination, this didn't make the mood any less devastating and full of tears when the other players heard of this news. Many Big Brother season 24 houseguests were upset with her decision and even held a prayer circle to honor her memory of the friendships and relationships she made within the house.

Players must have been blindsided by the person Paloma actually was, but viewers seen through her lies since the very beginning. Many other fans have made similar comments on the situation. Everyone is surprised, but not in the way the thought they would be. While various viewers agree that it was best for Paloma to go, many are upset with the player's overall potential. Reddit user Jelaminah posted, "Paloma could've been a fun character if it wasn't for the Taylor situation. It just left such a sour taste in my mouth..."
