After more than 20 years on the air, reality TV pioneer Big Brother has generated more than its fair share of drama, especially during the contest's weekly eviction process. The show's fans know just how explosive things can get during the veto, nomination, and eviction ceremonies.

In particular, eviction ceremonies are an opportunity for houseguests to either deliver one final plea to be saved or to reveal shocking betrayals to the other houseguests. It's no surprise, then, that evictions have birthed some of the series' most memorable and iconic speeches..

During an eviction speech, Candice took the opportunity to go after GinaMarie, who was one of her rivals. The two got into a screaming match on live television. The speech was memorable on its own merits, but even more so for the way Candice exited the house on a unanimous vote while wearing a clown unitard, making the explosive episode that much more chaotic.

Dani Donato - Big Brother 13

Dani is one of the few Big Brother contestants whose bad reputations are undeserved. First playing during Big Brother 8, Dani was known for her veto wins and her infamous relationship with her father, Dick Donato, who also played and won the season

During her second season, Dani made it known she was there to distance herself from her father's shadow. She went against her alliance of vets and targeted Jeff Shroeder in her eviction speech. Some fans rooted for her because of her honesty and straight-forward attitude. She knew her eviction was assured, but on her way out of the house, she made it her mission to shift the target to her biggest competition, which she did successfully.

Brett Robinson - Big Brother 20

However, during the earlier evictions, Brett found himself in a position to target another houseguest: Rockstar. He famously went out of his way to shift the target onto her and throw her under the bus. Not many of the other houseguests bought his shenanigans, but his efforts were enough to anger Rockstar and cause her to yell at him, becoming one of the most memorable eviction "speeches" in the show's two-decade history.

Jessica Graf - Big Brother 19

Jessica was one of many contestants Big Brother contestants with whom Julie Chen got combative during eviction. Jessica and her showmance (now husband) Cody fought almost every week to stay in the house. Ultimately, they couldn't win it all, and Jessica was sent packing pre-jury.

During her eviction speech, she stood by Body and expressed how meaningful it was to meet him on their journey in the house. She also took the chance to shift the target onto Paul, who was the mastermind of the season. Not many people did much about it, but her efforts remain iconic in hindsight.

Zach Rance - Big Brother 16

One of Big Brother's most eccentric houseguests was Zach from season 16. He was a crucial part of the majority alliance, but his big mouth got him into trouble more often than not. He was emotional yet hilarious.

In one eviction, Zach decided that, instead of a typical eviction speech, he'd recite a poem from his own pen. It was one of the more lighthearted eviction speeches and made the other houseguests crack up over Zach's dogged refusal to take himself seriously. More importantly, the tactic worked, and Zach dodged eviction that week.

Michelle Meyer - Big Brother 18

Michelle was known for being a super fan of Big Brother, but she was also known for being extremely emotional, and ultimately, she only made it to jury.

In one of her eviction speeches, Michelle took the opportunity to let the other houseguests know that "Nicole's a snake." It was a thrilling moment for fans who were tired of Nicole, and Michelle was the perfect player to call her out. She truly believed she would be the one going home, but she was shocked when her fellow nominee, Bridgette, was sent home instead. In true Michelle fashion, she sobbed about it moments later.

Most fans remember Chima from Big Brother 11 because she was part of the few past Big Brother houseguests who left without being evicted because she expelled from the game. She was honest and played alongside many strong-willed players from her season.

But before she was expelled from the game, she was put on the block alongside another houseguest named Braden. She used her eviction speech to call him out for being a racist on live television. She pointed out his bigotry behind everyone's back. The part that fans most remember is the fact that she was centered for most of the speech due to the words he used. Ultimately, it worked in her favor since the other houseguests didn't want to keep him around after that.

Taylor Hale - Big Brother 24

Since the series returned, Taylor had been playing Big Brother with her back to the wall. Now, she finds herself in the majority alliance this season.

During a recent eviction, she finally got to send one of her rivals out the door with an iconic speech. For the first time, she was completely in on the plan to back door her fellow nominee, Nicole. Taylor and the rest of her "leftover" alliance talked Daniel into using the veto which sent his best friend and ally, Nicole home. Taylor finally got the last laugh with Daniel when he was sent home just last week.

Da'Vonne Rogers - Big Brother 22

Another fan favorite among fans was Da'Vonne. She managed to appear in 3 different seasons. However, she never came close to winning. She later won America's Favorite Player and became the first Black woman to win.

During her final appearance on All-Stars, Da'Vonne used her final eviction speech to celebrate being a strong Black woman and super fan of the show. She wanted to bring attention to the fact that many past players that are Black never get to win and how meaningful it has been to be a part the show where she can be herself. It was both genuine and powerful, which is why it was one of the most memorable.
