Since leaving the Big Brother house, Paloma Aguilar has had a lot to say about the intense game and her time spent inside the house. Paloma went into the Big Brother house, giving the game her all. Unfortunately, the physical and mental strain that the game tends to have on contestants soon took a toll on her health. Shortly before what was supposed to be the first live eviction of the summer, the houseguests learned the shocking news that Paloma had self-evicted from the game.

Paloma suddenly leaving the Big Brother house not only shocked her fellow houseguests but even the viewers at home. Whenever a player leaves the game early, whether it is voluntarily or forced by production, the remainder of the game is changed. This is what happened after Paloma's departure. Not only was the first live eviction pushed off, but the Backstage Pass twist was canceled. In place of the season's original twist, the show added a new twist called Festie Bestie, where the houseguests are put in pairs.

Since leaving the Big Brother house, Paloma has slowly been readjusting back to reality. In doing so, she's had a few things to say about her short-lived time on the show. Prior to her self-eviction, Paloma believed she outsmarted the game. Now, she's realized the mental toll Big Brother took on her. Although she stayed away from social media for quite some time, Paloma did go through with her exit interview following her leave. During the interview with Us Weekly, Paloma admitted that the cash prize of $750K was not worth the ultimate toll the game was taking on her health. While living in the house, Paloma was running off of just two to four hours of sleep a night, which in no situation is healthy.

In addition to speaking out about how her health suffered while living inside the Big Brother house, Paloma has also been very adamant in explaining that production plays a large role in how each houseguest is portrayed. She first made this clear in the comment section of a Big Brother fan's Tik Tok video. Paloma noted that production has a way of twisting the reality of what goes on inside the house. Then, after nearly three weeks of being home, Paloma returned to Instagram with a lengthy post in which she went into detail about the long days and nights spent inside the house. Fearing she would miss out on something important, Paloma would refuse to sleep. Not seeing sunlight or smelling fresh air for numerous days at a time also caused Paloma's health to suffer even more. She again noted the importance of how Big Brother edits conversations to form an entertaining narrative for viewers.

There is no doubt that Big Brother is an intense game both physically, mentally, and even emotionally. It is not for everyone, which is why the casting process is such a long and intricate one. Despite this, players do not truly know the extremes of what it is like to be secluded inside the Big Brother house while playing this game until they are living it. Although Big Brother may not have been for Paloma, she is still thankful for the short amount of time she got to spend living inside the house and playing this crazy game.
