Big Brother 23 runner-up Derek Frazier is currently working on his audition tape in the hopes to get cast on The Amazing Race alongside his best friend and social media collaborator Adam. Fans got to know Derek F. on BB23 when he was cast as one of the 16 houseguests competing in the season. Upon first impressions, Derek F. was introduced as a 29-year-old safety officer from Philadelphia, PA. In the first week of the show, his dynamic personality resonated with a lot of viewers.
As the competition took off, Derek F. was chosen by team captain Brandon Frenchie to join the Jokers team along with Azah Awasum and Britini D'Angelo. With that said, Derek F. actually committed to staying loyal to the Cookout alliance featuring Xavier Prather, Azah Awasum, Kyland Young, Hannah Chaddha, and Tiffany Mitchell. Despite not winning a single competition over the course of the show, Derek F. made it to the grand finale of Big Brother 23 and lost the $750,000 grand prize to Xavier.
Now, Derek F. wants to keep his reality TV career going by applying to be on The Amazing Race. As longtime viewers may know, The Amazing Race is a competition where duos travel around the world for a chance to win the $1 million grand prize. As far as Derek F. is concerned, he wants to be on TAR with his best friend, Adam. As seen in the post below, Derek shared a photo with the caption: "I am calling Hollywood because it's time for this duo @theregulardegularshow to be on TV entertaining the world. #amazingrace." In the comments, Derek doubled down on his desire to go on TAR, writing: "Doing our Amazing Race tape this week, so cross your fingers."
It is no secret that Derek wants to compete on other reality shows in the near future, as he has shared several of his plans and desires on social media. As BFFs, Derek and Adam create content for their joint social media account known as The Regular Degular Show. They clearly trust the entertainment value they provide as a duo, so it makes sense for them to apply to be on a show together like The Amazing Race. In the past, there have been a few Big Brother alumni who competed on TAR. Namely, Cody Nickson & Jessica Graf, Brendon Villegas & Rachel Reilly, Janelle Pierzina & Britney Haynes, and Victor Arroyo & Nicole Franzel have all competed on Amazing Race.
