Evicted Big Brother 24 houseguest Daniel Durston reunited with Paloma Aguilar, who self-eliminated in week one of the game, after they both became known as the villains of the season. Paloma was heavily criticized by live feed viewers for her bullying and microaggressions toward fellow houseguest Taylor Hale. After she self-evicted, she insisted that her decision was about her mental health struggles and not Taylor, but Daniel had no way of knowing this. He ended up verbally attacking Taylor about Paloma's self-eviction in a blowup that ultimately caused his own demise in the game.

After Nicole Layog misunderstood Taylor's concern for her well-being in the game and thought that she meant that Taylor was passive aggressively telling her to quit, she turned to her Final 2 Rogue Rat alliance member Daniel for support. Daniel was fuming and told a confused Taylor not to speak to him until the finale. He yelled at her, "The thing you did to Paloma? You're trying to do to her [Nicole]? You can [expletive] right off. You don't think America's watching all that?" Daniel then walked away. When Taylor tried to talk to him, he yelled, "No, stop! I will never forget what you did to Paloma. You think she didn't spiral because of you? You didn't add to that? And now you're trying to do it to Nicole? Mind games?" After his eviction, when he was confronted with the truth about Paloma's self-eviction in his exit interviews, Daniel explained that she had become like a younger sister to him during the eight days that they spent together in the house. He was so loyal to Paloma that he didn't even realize that she had even attempted to target him at one point in the game.

In an Instagram post, Daniel, 35, shared a photograph of him and Paloma, 22, reuniting in San Diego. In the picture, they are both wearing sunglasses and smiling. Paloma is giving the peace sign. He captioned the photo with the defiant phrase "for the haters" and added the hashtags #roguerat, #sewerrat, #bb24, and #bigbrother. Paloma commented on the post, writing, "This caption is everything [laughing emoji] an iconic reunion [{cool emoji]." Daniel also shared an Instagram story with another picture of him and Paloma captioned, "You're just the last of the real ones," with Fallout Boy's song "The Last of the Real Ones" playing in the background.

Even though some Big Brother 24 viewers had speculated that Paloma might not want to see Daniel when he revealed that he wanted to visit her, Daniel's fans offered words of support in the comments section of his post. Maryluce113 wrote, "Yaaassss! God and I miss both of you! So glad you guys are still on good terms! Hope you and Nicole are ok too!" Daniel responded, "Paloma and I are homies for life!! And don’t you worry, The RogueRats continue to scheme daily!" Truckeedave wrote, "Loved her gameplay!" about Paloma, to which Daniel replied, "she was one of the FEW playing the damn game from day ONE. So much respect for her going in as hard as I did from the get go."

Daniel and Paloma will definitely go down in Big Brother history as two of the most infamous houseguests. Although they might have been playing the game well, their personal attacks on their fellow houseguests, both to their faces and behind their backs, shocked and disgusted viewers. However, they both have expressed that they want to make amends and learn from their words and actions in the Big Brother house. Hopefully, they spent some of their reunion reflecting on their experiences.

Big Brother airs Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT and Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
