Big Brother 22: All-Stars winner Cody Calafiore had a hilarious reaction to randomly spotting Janelle Pierzina in the background of the 2002 movie Like Mike. Now referred to as the Queen of Big Brother, the fans first got to know Janelle on BB6, where she placed third overall. She then came back for BB7, BB14, and BB22, becoming the first four-time houseguest in the history of the show. Janelle is also only one of two players to have competed on both All-Stars editions of the show, along with BFF Kaysar Ridha. It was on the latest All-Stars season that Janelle met Cody for the first time.
Cody Calafiore was introduced to the fandom as a 23-year-old salesperson on Big Brother 16. He caught everyone's attention for his good looks and close friendship with Derrick Levasseur, which led up to the very successful Hitmen alliance. Derrick and Cody dominated BB16 and got to the grand finale together. However, Derrick was the player that ended up winning the season by a 7-2 jury vote. Many years later, Cody was brought back for Big Brother 22: All-Stars and once again dominated the game. He again got to the finale and, this time, he won the $500,000 grand prize by a unanimous 9-0 jury vote.
Janelle and Cody weren't exactly friends on Big Brother: All-Stars, but they also didn't hold any animosity toward each other outside of the game. And this week, Cody Calafiore shared a pretty funny reaction to spotting Janelle Pierzina in a movie that he just happened to be watching. As seen below, Cody shared an Instagram Story of himself watching Like Mike and zoomed in on one of the background cheerleaders during a particular scene. He wrote over the video, "Wait a second is that @janellepierzina?!?!" This is, indeed, Janelle acting in the 2002 comedy Like Mike. As an actress, Janelle also had cameos in 2003's Bruce Almighty and on TV shows such as Charmed, Friends, and Las Vegas.
It is safe to assume that the vast majority of Big Brother fans aren't aware that Janelle Pierzina had a bit of a career as an on-screen actress, so Cody Calafiore's shock isn't surprising. With that said, it was pretty hilarious to see and read Cody's reaction to suddenly spotting his Big Brother 22 co-star in the background of a scene while randomly watching a movie in his home.
The post-season of Big Brother 22: All-Stars is the gift that keeps on giving. It's great seeing that Cody and Janelle have buried any animosity that they might've felt toward each other after the show.
