Christmas Abbott has announced a new podcast series where she'll tackle all the Big Brother 22: All-Stars drama that she was involved in. The fandom was introduced to Christmas on BB19. She came into the season as a badass female figure who had served in the US military and even joined the male-dominated field of NASCAR racing. But as fate would have it, Christmas unfortunately broke her foot very early in the season. She was given the option to stay in the house, but Christmas' broken foot made it literally impossible for her to compete in several physical competitions. Still, against all odds, she made it to Final 3. In 2020, Christmas was brought back for BB22.
It's no secret that the Big Brother 22 fans didn't exactly like Christmas Abbott's journey on the show. However, when she attempted to address certain things during a particular Instagram Live, it went horribly wrong. The comments section on that IG Live was flooded by fans asking her pretty tough questions that she didn't seem willing (or ready) to answer at that moment. Then, one fan pretended to be Christmas' Big Brother 19 co-star Josh Martinez and was allowed to join her live-stream. But the fan wasn't Josh after all. Instead, the fan called Christmas racist to her face and left her dumbfounded. Needless to say, Christmas has steered away from doing live-streams since then.
Now that the Big Brother: All-Stars post-season is in full swing, Christmas Abbott is taking the time to reflect on certain situations that happened during the season. In an Instagram video (seen below), Christmas said that she wants to "have conversations" about some of the drama that she was involved in on the show. To do so, Christmas announced a new podcast series that "will be addressing all of the questions - even the controversial ones - in a manner that is respectful, reflective, and [in] a way for [her] to grow." Christmas then added that she had a great time on BB22 and admitted that she is an extremely competitive person that gets very intense during competitions. However, she said that she wants to do better and grow as a person by having deep conversations about certain issues.
A podcast series is probably a good way for Christmas to share her thoughts on the BB22 drama that she participated in. That is, for instance, what Nicole Franzel has been doing right now with her Coco Caliente podcast, which is co-hosted by Victor Arroyo. However, in Christmas' case, it should be noted that these podcast episodes will only be helpful if she's willing to bring on people who will actually - even if respectfully - question certain things that she said on the show, such as her comment about fearing that she'd get shot by Bayleigh Dayton and Da'Vonne Rogers. Recently, the fans watched as Nicole Anthony talked to her (also white) Hello Friends! podcast co-host about issues of racism. All things considered, it's pointless for these conversations to happen if they won't involve actual people of color in the discussion.
The fans will certainly tune into this Big Brother 22-themed podcast series that Christmas Abbott has announced. Hopefully, it is indeed a tool for her to grow as a person and learn a few new things.
