Things weren't so jolly for Christmas throughout her second time inside the Big Brother house. Christmas Abbott just admitted that her time inside the Big Brother house this past season was actually "traumatizing" for her. This is not the first all star to reveal they had a tough time throughout the season. Following her return home from the show, Nicole Franzel shared that if this season had been her first, she would have never returned for another season.

Christmas Abbott first competed on Big Brother during season 19 in 2017. Despite breaking her foot and undergoing surgery, Christmas managed to make it to the final three. She fell short of winning the half a million dollar grand prize when she was evicted in the final eviction of the season. During her time away from the show, Christmas became pregnant. She had her son Loyal in the fall of 2018. This past summer, Christmas said "see you later" to her nearly 2-year-old son as she embarked on yet another try at the half a million dollar grand prize. While yet again Christmas fell short of winning the money, she did win something else while inside the house: love. She and Memphis Garrett announced their new relationship just a few short weeks after arriving back home following the end of the season.

Despite meeting her now boyfriend, being inside the Big Brother house for a second time was not as easy for Christmas. According to The Charlotte Observer, Christmas actually described her second go around as being "traumatizing." She explained how much harder this season was due to the fact she had her young son at home. While inside the house, Christmas would constantly have to remind herself why she was there. She made the "commitment" to be there for both herself and her family. Ultimately, Christmas wanted to give Big Brother another try to see how far she could get "with a fully working body."Christmas reminisced, "The day that I had to leave Loyal was traumatizing." She remembered having nightmares nearly every night inside the house up until her first Head of Household win. The nightmares later returned just two weeks after her reign. Christmas explained that as a parent it "wrecks you" to not be in any type of contact with your child.

Aside from leaving her son, Christmas explained that going back inside the Big Brother world is just harder in general. The first time entering the house, contestants do not really know what to expect. Everything is new to them. The second time going into the house, houseguests know what to expect as well as what to "dread." From the endless down time to the constant overthinking, Christmas was prepared to go through this all over again. Leaving her son was actually more difficult than when she broke 10 bones in her foot during season 19. All of this aside, Christmas would without a doubt give Big Brother a third try. She said, "It scares the living bejesus out of me to say that." Christmas joked that she will be the winner of the next All Star season.

Well, they do say the third times a charm. It is hard to believe that after how difficult of a time Christmas had while inside the Big Brother house this past season she would still be willing to do it all again.
