Christian Birkenberger from Big Brother 23 is praising Alyssa Lopez for her rant on the live feeds regarding slop and beauty standards. Christian was the last houseguest to be evicted prior to the start of jury this summer. Christian was a strong competitor, which is why Derek Xiao ultimately felt the need to backdoor him during week 5.

Prior to his eviction, Christian was in a showmance with Alyssa. A showmance is a term that was created during the early seasons of Big Brother to describe two players who are dating while inside the house. On night one, Christian chose Alyssa to be on his team, the Kings. Then, the two became nearly inseparable as they played the game side by side. Since his eviction, Christian has been rooting for Alyssa from home.

After returning home, Christian began tuning into the live feeds to keep up with his former houseguests as the competition continues on. Now, he is praising Alyssa for her recent rant regarding slop and beauty standards. Following last week's Head of Household competition, Alyssa was named a Have-Not for the third time this summer. She was noticeably upset following the competition, mostly because of how skinny she gets while on slop. Slop, an oatmeal-like dish, is a Big Brother food punishment. In a clip taken from the live feeds, Alyssa is seen explaining to Hannah Chaddha that she fears girls watching the show see her get skinny while being a Have-Not and look at it as an ideal body image. She also does not want girls to view it as "healthy."

Recently, Christian retweeted the clip before praising Alyssa for her rant. He started off by explaining how important it is for fans to all listen to what Alyssa had to say regarding being on the slop diet. The tweet read, "Beauty is not defined by your figure so please dont aspire to look like anyone but yourself." When houseguests are forced to be on the Have-Not diet, it is not an ideal "beach bod" diet. It is a punishment. The main purpose of the punishment is to affect the player's strength and energy for upcoming competitions. This was also unfortunate for Alyssa as current Head of Household Tiffany Mitchell nominated her, forcing Alyssa to compete in the Power of Veto while on the restricted diet.

Luckily for Alyssa, her third week of being a Have-Not will soon come to an end. Last week, longtime Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves announced the next two live shows will consist of double evictions. Hopefully, Alyssa will have enough energy to survive not one but two evictions this Thursday.
