With the premiere of Big Brother 23 being nearly just a week away, the brand new cast will allegedly be revealed this week on June 30. Reputable spoiler accounts on social media have reported that CBS will reveal the show's 16 cast members exactly one week prior to the live move-in episode. The announcement timing is perceived as being accurate compared to that of years' past.

Last year, Big Brother veered away from their typical schedule due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead of kicking off the new season in late June, season 22 did not premiere until August. In doing so, the season ultimately lasted through October. Because casting auditions could not be held, production called former players, asking if they would like to return to the house for an All-Star season. While fans were initially excited to see some of their favorite alums play the game yet again, the season was ultimately a letdown to many.

Because the All-Star season lacked entertainment, viewers have high hopes for a better season this year, which mainly depends on the players. It has already been rumored that the cast will consist of 16 brand new houseguests. Now, the Twitter account @Spoilergirl1 claims that these individuals will be revealed this week on Wednesday June 30. The cast reveal will allegedly take place exactly one week before the live season premiere on Wednesday, July 7. The account tweeted, "#BB23 My source says cast reveal is 6/30 unless something changes," along with a gif of the show's host Julie Chen Moonves. They later tweeted out assuring fans that the houseguests are all "locked away" to quarantine for the show as well as revealing that CBS will release some news regarding the show soon, which is presumably the cast reveal.

In addition to the cast reveal supposedly coming later this week, fans can also look forward to a sneak peak inside the Big Brother house. Similar to that of previous seasons, CBS will allegedly be posting photos of the new design of the house just days before the premiere. Julie Chen Moonves previously revealed that the house will have a summer theme this year. The players will also be faced with major risk and rewards throughout the game. As CBS continues to hype up fans for the new season, one of their recent tweets led fans fearing there could be another dreaded duos twist this summer.

Longtime viewers are not the only ones excited for the new season. BB20's Angela "Rockstar" Lantry informed her Twitter followers that she will once again be rooting for the players who have kids at home rather than the younger players who are most likely seeking "to be the next great influencer." Although the cast has already been finalized, Rockstar, like the rest of Big Brother fans, has to wait just a few more days to learn who will be competing inside the house this summer.
