Dedicated Big Brother viewers are sharing their advice about how to win the popular competition show. Big Brother is currently casting for season 23. This is the first time the show has cast new houseguests in nearly two years. Last summer, the show brought back some of the best players from the past 21 seasons. They competed in the All-Stars season. Many fans believe this was because it was too difficult to hold casting auditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

As fans prepare for a new season, presumably with new houseguests, they fear that the casting team won't choose the right people. In the past, there have been numerous casting choices that turned out to be major letdowns for viewers. Fans have been quite vocal about what they do and don't want to see during the upcoming season. Some past houseguests have shared their advice about casting as well. James Rhines advised applicants to quit Twitter, while former winner Nicole Franzel told applicants to just be themselves. However, fans don't just weigh in on casting. They also share their opinions about how the game should be played.

Many Big Brother fans took to Reddit to share their tips on the smartest ways to bring home the $500,000 grand prize. The main piece of advice was to focus on listening more than talking. When they listen to what everyone else is saying, players can utilize information to their advantage in the future. If a player talks too much, they may get caught lying. They may also put their alliances at risk. Fans think that players should take note of the specific questions that are asked in the Diary Room. On the other hand, overthinking what goes on in the Diary Room isn't a good idea. It can hurt a player mentally.

When it comes to alliances, players should strive to become a part of the big 8-person alliance that is typically formed within the first day of being in the house. Players who want to win and enjoy spending their cash prizes should also try to be somewhat friendly with everyone in the house. While it is good to align with a core group of players, a houseguest shouldn't dismiss potential friendships with people outside of an alliance. By being friendly with everyone in the house, it's easier for a player to stay under the radar when it comes to nominations. Another major piece of advice is to study everything. This includes fellow houseguests, competitions, and things around the house. This all circles back around by the last few competitions in the game, which tend to be the most important.

Many fans of Big Brother have been watching the show since the very first season in 2000. Although season 1 was different from the current format, longtime viewers have watched some players do all of the right things to win. They've seen other houseguests do all of the wrong things and lose. A premiere date for Big Brother season 23 has yet to be announced.
