Big Brother has a history of showmances, referring to houseguests who find love, or at least intense attraction, with one another. In fact, the show has a better track record with relationships than The Bachelor, with several successful marriages to have come from two people meeting on the show, like Rachel and Brendan, Dominic and Danielle, and, of course, fan-favorite couple Jeff and Jordan.

Some showmances on Big Brother were cringe-worthy, with two people who either fed off one another in a bad way (like Matt and Raven or Isabella and Nick) or just who didn't seem to match, like Austin and Liz and Amanda and McCrae. In other cases, fans were all for certain showmances happening (whether the showmance actually did or not).

Derek X. And Hannah (Season 23)

In Big Brother 23, fan-favorite player Derek X. has delighted viewers who love his likability, sense of humor, strategic gameplay, and physical prowess when it comes to winning competitions. But it isn't just fans who have noticed: Hannah has been open about the fact that she has a crush on him.

While the pair seem to be no more than close friends and allies in the house, fans have their fingers crossed that the relationship will blossom into something more once the season is over.

James And Natalie (Season 18)

James was the resident practical joker in the house on season 18, the longest season of Big Brother, who was candid about the fact that he believed Natalie to be out of his league. So when she fell for him and reciprocated the affection, it was a beautiful inspiration to anyone watching who felt like they weren't good enough or attractive enough for someone else.

They were adorable together in the house, never putting on too much PDA, but they also made one another laugh at every turn. They also both got along well with others, which made fans root for them even more.

Danielle And Dominic (Season 13)

Another Big Brother showmance that led to marriage, fans were rooting for Danielle and Dominic, loving how laid-back and easy-going Dominic seemed to be as well as how into Danielle he was. While Dominic was voted out early in the season, sent packing in 11th place after being in the house for just 27 days, it was enough for the pair to know that there was something more worth pursuing after the show.

Clearly, they kept in touch. Today, the couple is married with kids, satisfying fans who knew that the love they witnessed in the house was real. Danielle, meanwhile, returned to play in Big Brother 22.

Jeff And Jordan (Season 11)

If there is a showmance couple from Big Brother that fans could award "America's Sweetheart Couple," it would be Jeff and Jordan. Their relationship was solid from the beginning. They played together, resulting in Jordan winning the season and Jeff winning America's Favorite Houseguest.

Both returned to the show several times since being on, including for a live proposal. They also announced their baby on Big Brother. The couple remain one of the Big Brother showmances that are still dating or married, and share two kids together.

Xavier And Azah (Season 23)

During Big Brother 23, Azah has been open in diary room sessions about her "middle-school crush" on Xavier. In fact, she even confessed her feelings to him after getting jealous about his flirtations with Whitney.

While they maintain a close friendship with one another, and both are members of The Cookout alliance, which is poised to become one of the most successful alliances on Big Brother, a romantic spark hasn't yet emerged. It could be that Xavier doesn't want a showmance to get in the way of his game. But fans are hoping the two will get together at some point, even if it's after the show.

Faysal And Haleigh (Season 20)

Faysal and Haleigh seemed like a totally odd couple, him a strapping man and she a petite young woman from a completely different upbringing, both societally and culturally. But in this case, opposite truly did attract. They were totally sweet together, able to teach one another different perspectives.

What made fans love this showmance even more is that Haleigh wasn't initially interested, but she slowly began to fall for Faysal. Despite Faysal, called "Fessy" in the house, not being a great player, often clueless as to what was going on around him, he seemed to truly like Hayleigh. Indeed, they dated for several years after the show, according to Heavy.

Tyler And Angela (Season 20)

Dating since they met on the show in season 20, the best season of Big Brother for new fans to watch, according to Reddit, Tyler and Angela are now engaged, according to ET Online. Tyler was a fan-favorite player and viewers respected that he tried to squash his feelings in an effort to avoid a showmance getting in the way of his game.

But in the end, his feelings were too strong for Angela to resist, and obviousty genuine since the pair continued to date outside of the house. Based on Tyler's appearance on Big Brother 22, his love for her hasn't wavered.

Swaggy C And Bayleigh (Season 20)

Swaggy C down on one knee proposing to Bayleigh on the final of Big Brother.

Their short but sweet relationship ended abruptly when Swaggy C was evicted by his own team member in a shocking twist. But once fans saw how serious Swaggy was about Bayleigh, even going to meet her family while Bayleigh was still in the house, everyone wanted a happy ending.

And they got it, as the finale episode that season, considered one of the best Big Brother finale episodes, featured a live marriage proposal. The pair remain married today, and Bayleigh returned to complete in Big Brother 22.

Mark And Elena (Season 19)

While some aspects of their relationship were cringe-worthy, including the fact that Elena seemed uninterested in Mark for much of the time, fans were rooting for them nonetheless because they believed that Mark really did like Elena. Some also suspected that she might have been holding back for valid reasons, including not wanting to be in a showmance in the game and have her affections televised.

Mark was a big teddy bear who wasn't afraid to cry on camera, and it was clear the way Elena acted sometimes hurt him. In the end, the couple did date for a short time outside of the house, but ultimately broke up, according to E! Online.

Frankie And Zach (Season 16)

Frankie and Zach, affectionately known by fans as "Zankie," were like two peas in a pod the second they met. There was an instant bond and a deep friendship that seemed like they had known one another forever. They were cuddly and affectionate with one another, even though Zach was clear about his sexuality and that he was straight (he has since come out as bisexual, a fact he says he came to terms with after his time in the house, according to Us Weekly).

Fans understood at the time that Zach and Frankie, a Big Brother player who didn't receive the hate he got on the show, could only be friends, but the chemistry was undeniable. Zach told Us Weekly that he "fell in love with who [Frankie] was as a person." It's ironic that Zach has come out as bisexual so many years later when fans were hoping for such a realization during his time on Big Brother.
