Azah Awasum is ready to compete for $500,000 on Big Brother 23, and the fans want to learn more about this contestant's age, job, hometown, and social media presence. The fans have long been asking for a cast that truly reflected the United States more accurately - with a diverse lineup of contestants of different ages, races, backgrounds, and sexual orientations, to name a few. Thankfully, the producers finally listened to the public after seeing how things played out on Big Brother 22.

Now, a very diverse cast of brand-new houseguests will get to enter the Big Brother 23 house for a chance to win half a million dollars. Furthermore, there are zero returning players this time around, which feels like a very clear departure from the hype surrounding All-Stars in 2020. There's no denying that the fans are extremely excited to get a new season of newbies in 2021, and there's also a lot of hope that these changes in the casting process will allow new kinds of players to emerge.

The fans are certainly looking forward to watching Azah Awasum on Big Brother 23. From Baltimore, Maryland, Azah is 30 years old and works as a director of sales operations (via CBS). Azah describes herself as "charismatic, crafty, clumsy," and she says that her favorite moment in the history of the show was Keesha's birthday on BB10. Moreover, Azah loves duos such as Jun and Alison on BB4 but can't stand actual showmances. According to Azah herself, her name means "able to make friends," which is a great trait to have inside the BB house! One wild fact about Azah is that her grandfather was a polygamist who had six wives and 47 children. This means that Azah has more than 300 cousins.

Azah Awasum doesn't appear to have a large social media presence, but the Big Brother fans believe that her Instagram profile is @azah_awasum. When it comes to gameplay, Azah says that she'll be playing Big Brother for her own self. She doesn't want to play along with what "the house" wants to do. In fact, Azah plans on spotting power players early on so she can take them down singlehandedly. Furthermore, Azah has visited many countries over the course of her life, and her worldliness might be another great asset that she'll have in the game.

The fans are looking forward to another great season of power struggles, competitive players, strong alliances, shocking blindsides, and perhaps a little bit of showmance? BB23 will finally premiere on Wednesday, July 7, which means that we are very close to getting to know these houseguests even more.
