Big Brother stars Andy Herren and Paul Abrahamian took to social media to call Cody Nickson a "bigot," and his wife Jessica Graf clapped back. The fans first got to know Andy on BB15, which he won, becoming the first openly gay man to win the show. In many ways, the fandom looks back at season 15 as the transition between the old-school and the new-school eras of Big Brother. In turn, Paul Abrahamian was cast on BB18 three years later. Paul went all the way to Final 2, but ultimately lost to returning houseguest Nicole Franzel by a 5-4 jury vote.

Because many fans considered Paul to be a deserving winner of Big Brother 18 who got "robbed" at the finale, producers brought them back as a returning player for BB19. That was when Paul met Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf, who were involved in a showmance. During the first third of the season, BB19 was very much about Paul versus Cody. After being evicted, Cody got a chance to come back to the show, which meant that his rivalry with Paul gained a second life. In the end, Jessica was the last pre-jury evictee, and Cody was the first evicted player during the jury phase, which meant that they were separated until the BB19 finale.

Since winning America's Favorite Houseguest on Big Brother 19, Cody Nickson has been criticized by certain BB fans and alumni for his political views. On Wednesday, November 4, BB15 winner Andy Herren took to social media to address some of what's been said by Cody in recent times. Overall, Cody has been very active on Instagram with his political commentary about the 2020 elections. Andy wrote in a tweet (seen below), "Friendly reminder that BB19 Cody is a COVID-denying, Trump-supporting, transphobic bigot. Let's stop pretending he's anything else." In a reply, Paul Abrahamian tweeted out a screenshot where Cody appeared to be calling the residents of Flint, Michigan "idiots." Later in the day, Jessica Graf took to Twitter to defend her husband. Jessica's response to Andy (also seen below) read, "You're SOO desperate for attention. Do you ever stop talking about my husband? You poor thing. Not hugged enough? Still crying about not being on All Stars? Get a life."

In turn, Big Brother 15 winner Andy Herren also clapped back at Jessica Graf's defense of Cody Nickson. In a follow-up tweet, Andy said the following to Jessica: "At least my life doesn't revolve around supporting a bigoted monster. This is so disappointing from you." Andy also referenced how Jessica was always willing and able to hold Cody accountable for some of his actions while they were competing on BB19. However, the fans' consensus is that she hasn't been challenging his views anymore, or at least not in public.

The post-season of Big Brother 22: All-Stars has been very busy even for the players that weren't on the show in 2020. All things considered, this interaction between Andy, Paul, and Jessica seems to be rooted in fundamental political differences.
