During Big Brother 24, Alyssa Snider and Kyle Capener had a very short-lived showmance, and it likely will not continue once the show is over. While Big Brother has been on the air, a showmance has occurred on almost every season. Some have lasted off of Big Brother and resulted in marriage and children, while others fizzled out after the season was over.

Alyssa, who is 24-year-old and Kyle, who is 29-year-old, started Big Brother 24 as friends, but they slowly progressed into a showmance later in the season. However, after Kyle was caught in what some viewers thought to be a racially insensitive conversation, Alyssa decided she couldn't see a future with him outside the show. Kyle was evicted from the Big Brother house that night, and with Kyle in the jury house, Alyssa remains adamant that she can't continue a relationship with him outside of Big Brother.

According to Cheatsheet, after getting an alcohol delivery, the remaining Big Brother houseguests went to the backyard to drink and gossip. It was during this time Alyssa opened up about all of her frustrations with Kyle. Alyssa has made it clear that she won't be dating Kyle after Big Brother 24 ends, stating, "I felt like, if I was getting into a showmance, I would expect Jessica and Cody [from Big Brother 19] vibes, like, you die for me. [Kyle] wouldn’t die for me. Wouldn’t die for you either, then." Later in the conversation, Alyssa, whose split with Kyle was misrepresented, also revealed the reason she wouldn't date him after Big Brother, which is that Kyle wouldn't "die" for her, a big deal-breaker for Alyssa.

After Big Brother wraps, it's possible Alyssa could have a change of heart after watching the season back, although that seems unlikely. It's unknown where Kyle stands with the whole situation, but it's safe to say that he wants to respect whatever decision Alyssa wants to make after Big Brother. The two did not rule out a friendship away from the show, but only time will tell if their relationship will turn platonic.

With only two weeks of the game left in Big Brother 24, a lot is bound to happen. Three more houseguests will be entering the Big Brother jury house before the finale, and it seems like Alyssa may be the main target this week. Drama is bound to happen within these last two weeks of the game, so if viewers want to see what goes down inside the Big Brother house, they will have to tune in to find out. Big Brother's motto has always been "expect the unexpected," so viewers should expect to see some surprises throughout the remainder of the season.

Big Brother airs Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m EST and Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
