Former Big Brother houseguests are calling out BB24 contestant Daniel Durston online for spreading negativity and denying what went on within the house. Daniel had an eventful stay in the Big Brother house, despite being evicted early in week 5. After quickly forming a bond with Paloma Aguilar, Daniel was upset about her decision to self-evict during week 1 due to high levels of anxiety and sleep deprivation. Daniel blamed the circumstances around Paloma's exit on winner Taylor Hale, claiming that she "bullied" Paloma into leaving in a one-sided fight that left Taylor upset and the other houseguests uncomfortable. The rift between Daniel and the other houseguests grew until he was unanimously evicted and gave a final parting speech referring to his fellow houseguests as "clowns." Daniel has taken to social media to complain about his fellow contestants and retell inaccurate versions of what went on inside the house. Despite Daniel, who had a crush on Taylor, apologizing for his behavior on Big Brother after the season, he has now backpedaled and continues to insult his former competitors. After Netflix released seasons 10 & 14 of Big Brother, Daniel tweeted, "Go watch it and see how the game is supposed to be played without sheep."Related: Why Big Brother 24’s Daniel Connected With Todrick Hall After Show

Multiple Big Brother Alums Have Spoken Out Against Daniel

The Leftovers alliance formed within the house in response to the mistreatment of Taylor, specifically Daniel's blow-up; however, Daniel now claims that the alliance formed beforehand and its members did not actually care for Taylor. Fellow Big Brother 24 houseguest Michael Bruner responded on Twitter, stating, "That's not true. Blow up was on the day of the week 3 veto comp, and the leftovers formed after the comp on that night." Veto win record holder Michael went on to add, "AND, We loved Taylor, didn't like Daniel." Fans scorned Daniel's treatment of Taylor during the season because of the bullying they witnessed on the live feeds, and many are supporting Michael as he sets the record straight.

Even Big Brother 23's Alyssa Lopez Was Disappointed in Daniel Durston

Other Big Brother alums are calling out Daniel for his overall negativity and inflammatory comments. BB23 houseguest Hannah Chaddha responded to Daniel's initial tweet about seasons 10 & 14 by saying, "i knOW this can't be mr. send-my-closest-ally-home w/ something to say about how the game is supposed to be played," referring to Daniel's ally Nicole Layog being evicted despite Daniel holding the Power of Veto. Alyssa Lopez, also from BB23, responded to Daniel's tweet simply with a video of her rolling her eyes in response to Daniel's appearance on her screen. Although he might enjoy the attention, his constant jabs at former houseguests and uncalled-for behavior are only cementing Daniel's role as a Big Brother villain.

The format of Big Brother often leads to drama inside the house, but most houseguests can make amends and bond afterward. Rather than letting the game go and focusing on the relationships formed inside the house, Daniel continues to malign his former competitors and start drama. Fans are disappointed by Daniel's actions and have praised the Big Brother alums who are willing to speak out against him.
