Big Brother 22: All-Stars will have a Triple Eviction for the first time in the history of the show during next Thursday's episode, which will be two hours long. It is completely normal for the American Big Brother series to have Double Evictions. A Double Eviction is straightforward: after one player is evicted, the house goes through an entire week's worth of BB events in an hour. This includes a new Head of Household competition, a new nomination ceremony, a new Power of Veto competition, a new veto ceremony, and a new house vote to evict another person. The fans are expecting this Triple Eviction to work the same way, having the contestants face two sped-up weeks playing out in one night - not just one.

Since Big Brother 5, the only season of the American show that did not feature a Double Eviction was BB11. It's a very popular trope that speeds up the game whenever it seems like the houseguests have gotten stuck on the same targets over and over again. Diehard Big Brother fans have seen a Triple Eviction on other versions of the show. For instance, season 3, 5, and 6 of Big Brother Canada have had Triple Evictions. On the other hand, Triple Evictions on BBCAN do not feature two sped-up weeks of gameplay. Instead, the second HOH of the night nominates three houseguests, and the house votes to save one of them.

Host Julie Chen has announced that next Thursday's episode of Big Brother: All-Stars will feature the first-ever triple eviction of the series. In order to make time for these three eviction cycles in one night, the episode will be two hours long. This format is likely being introduced to force the Committee alliance members to turn against themselves starting next week. The two obvious targets for the dominant alliance are still in the house: David Alexander and Kevin Campbell. The only other non-Committee player in the game is Enzo Palumbo, who might as well be an official Committee member at this point. If this season had a Double Eviction next week, chances were that David and Kevin would be evicted. With a Triple Eviction, the Committee will be forced to evict one of its own.

The first two BB22 Triple Eviction targets should still be the obvious choices: David and Kevin. However, the fans must now also forecast which other player will likely be evicted that night. Considering that Enzo isn't part of the Committee, some viewers might think that he's the other third choice. However, it is very unlikely that he'll be targeted anytime soon. Instead, it seems like the Committee's first target will be Daniele Donato Briones. Dani has already lost the trust of many of her allies. With that said, it's always possible that Daniele could win HOH and/or POV. If that's the case, it wouldn't be shocking for a wildcard like Memphis Garrett or Christmas Abbott to be targeted by their own allies.

This is a very exciting trope for the producers to add to Big Brother: All-Stars. Now, the Committee alliance members will completely implode in just one week. Needless to say, the BB22 game is about to get real.
