Showmances are usually an exciting part of the show, but there's only a handful of single contestants on Big Brother 22: All-Stars. Most BB seasons are filled with young eligible bachelors who are competing for $500,000 but wouldn't mind leaving the show with a new partner. The series has had plenty of showmances with varying levels of success. As Julie Chen has pointed out quite a few times, Big Brother has ironically been more successful at creating longlasting relationships than dating competitions such as The Bachelor. Noteworthy couples include Bayleigh Dayton and Swaggy C (BB20); Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas (BB12); Daniele Donato and Dominic Briones (BB13); Jeff Shroeder and Jordan Lloyd (BB11); Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans (BB20); and Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo (BB18).

The Big Brother 22 cast is made up entirely of returning houseguests, and some of whom hadn't been on the show in almost a decade. With an average age of 33.5 years old, a good portion of this All-Stars cast includes people who are already married or have a longterm relationship. This mostly limits the number of single houseguests who could potentially develop a showmance during the season. Furthermore, most players who are on this season have a very specific goal for coming back to the show. Ultimately, it doesn't seem like any of them are invested in finding love inside the BB house.

There are four single contestants on Big Brother: All-Stars: Da'Vonne Rogers (32), David Alexander (30), Enzo Palumbo (42), and Nicole Anthony (25). At the time of this writing, Nicole Anthony has already been evicted from the show... leaving just three eligible houseguests in the house. Enzo has joked about wanting to find someone on the show, but he and Da'Vonne are clearly just friendly to each other. Moreover, neither Enzo nor Nicole pursued one another. There was speculation that David was flirting with Da'Vonne, and that she was perhaps flirting back. However, Da'Vonne has been adamant about not pursuing that showmance while she's on the show.

It did seem, initially, like Da'Vonne would possibly entertain a relationship with David after they both left BB22. However, Da'Vonne and David have struggled to see eye to eye lately. Despite the fact that their conflict is entirely related to the game, it does seem like the lines have been blurred, and that they have both taken certain things personally. There's always the chance that they could resolve those differences outside of Big Brother. But for now, it doesn't look like Da'Vonne is interested any longer.

The fans of Big Brother showmances are left with nothing to hold onto this season. That is because nearly all of the contestants are already taken and have built families and/or businesses with their significant others. Still, those existing relationships can still be celebrated outside of the house.
