Nicole Franzel was shockingly cut in the Final 3 of Big Brother 22: All-Stars, and her post-season journey has been pretty eventful. In 2014, Big Brother 16 introduced 21-year-old nursing student Nicole Franzel from Ubly, Michigan. The fans automatically gravitated toward her as an underdog who kept fighting for her life in a very male-dominated house. Nonetheless, her best just wasn't enough to beat comp beasts like Caleb Reynolds, Frankie Grande, and Cody Calafiore. And despite being a superfan of the show who happened to be pretty smart, Nicole was also not able to outplay the undercover puppet master Derrick Levasseur.

Two years later, Nicole was brought back for Big Brother 18 along with fellow veterans Da'Vonne Rogers (BB17), James Huling (BB17), and Frank Eudy (BB14). At the very end, Paul Abrahamian won the final Head of Household competition and chose to take Nicole Franzel to the finale. But Nicole ended up beating Paul and winning the season by a 5-4 jury vote. Many fans were upset about those results, claiming that Paul was the deserving winner on that season. Nicole even referenced that sentiment during her intro package for Big Brother 22: All-Stars. And Nicole did indeed prove that she could play this game on her own terms and still make it very far.

It's not a secret to anybody that Nicole Franzel went on a social media purge ever since she left Big Brother: All-Stars. On Instagram, Nicole has reportedly unfollowed Cody Calafiore (and his girlfriend Cristie LaRatta), Derrick Levasseur, Daniele Donato Briones, Andy Herren, Haleigh Broucher, and Britney Haynes. It took a long time for her to say or post anything on social media, giving just small tidbits of information to the reporters that she was interviewed by in the media. However, this has changed recently. Nicole is now back at releasing new episodes for the Coco Caliente podcast, which she co-hosts with her fiancé and BB18 co-star Victor Arroyo. In a recent episode, Nicole and Victor broke the news that their wedding - which was supposed to happen in December 2020 - has been postponed to the spring of 2021.

Otherwise, it seems like Nicole Franzel is trying to salvage her social media empire after a swarm of marketing sponsors dropped her due to comments that she made on Big Brother 22. She is slowly trying to regain the trust of her followers and potential sponsors, particularly now that she didn't take home the first-place or second-place cash prizes from BB22. Moreover, Victor Arroyo is still the same supportive partner that he's always been to her. He recently started a new job as a police officer in Michigan, but he's still finding the time to co-host the podcast with Nicole.

Nicole's journey on Big Brother 22: All-Stars was a real roller-coaster. In a way, she gained appreciation from certain fans that didn't exactly like her. On the other hand, she accidentally did a lot of damage to her career as a social media influencer.
