Daniele Donato Briones' strategy on Big Brother 22: All-Stars is causing a stir that now involves Dominic Briones, Andy Herren, and Rachel Reilly. As the BB8 runner-up, Daniele came back to compete on the show along with her father, Evel Dick, on Big Brother 13. Her dad left the season pretty early, but Dani made it all the way to the jury phase and landed in 8th place. That year, she met Dominic Briones and Rachel Reilly. Dominic and Dani had a showmance that has since evolved into a marriage... and Rachel won BB13 in a 4-3 jury vote against Porsche.
With the announcement that Daniele was cast on Big Brother: All-Stars, she made history and became one of only two houseguests who have competed on this show on all three decades that it's been on the air. From the start, Dani's strategy has been to seemingly blend in with thew new-school players and get on their good side. However, the fans hadn't gotten all that many Diary Room confessionals from her yet, which meant that this strategy was still somewhat unclear to everyone. On the Wednesday, August 26 episode, Dani finally opened up about her strategy in the house.
On Big Brother 22, Daniele's plan is admittedly to play all sides but trust no one. She also confessed to heavily targeting Janelle, who she calls the "Queen of Big Brother." Specifically, Dani said that she wants to dethrone Janelle from that title. Ever since that revelation, the fans have had mixed reactions to her plan. As a result, Daniele's husband Dominic Briones came to her defense on Twitter: "My wife has these fans shook shook and gives zero f’s. I tried to warn y'all." Shortly thereafter, BB15 winner Andy Herren also tweeted his support of Dani's game. He pointed out that the fans want Nicole Franzel to own up to being "a villain" but are now criticizing Daniele for doing exactly that. "Make it make sense," Andy concluded. However, not everyone agrees with Dominic and Andy's praise of Dani's game.
Rachel Reilly decided to chime in on the conversation a day after Dominic Briones and Andy Herren shared their BB22 opinions on Twitter. She specifically replied to Andy's tweet and offered a counterpoint regarding Daniele's involvement in Janelle's eviction: "[Dani is] not doing anything to make [Janelle] go home - it's not her HOH she wasn't the master mind to get her up on the block - she didn’t win the veto to get her out - so I don't see how this is her doing." Rachel then added that Dani is "just a member of a huge alliance that wanted [Janelle] out since week 1." Andy replied to this tweet basically saying that Rachel isn't giving Dani enough credit for it, but the BB13 winner has yet to respond to that.
This year, the Big Brother game is being played inside and outside of the house. With so many big names attached to the season, there are several people out in the real world who feel passionate about the All-Stars... may that be positively or negatively.
