As with every season of Big Brother, alliances began forming in the first week of season 24, with Daniel approaching Nicole immediately, noting he loved her energy and was confident they should have a final two deal. From there, alliances came and went, some more strategic and lasting than others.

While many of the alliances have already lost one or more of their members, even some of the now defunct ones were on a good track until something derailed their plans.

The Girls Girls Alliance

It was admirable for the ladies to try and form an alliance to take out the guys. Ironically, it was Nicole, who technically wasn’t in this official alliance, who proposed this, hoping that they could have the strongest all-female alliance in the history of the show.

The alliance included Jasmine, Ameerah, Brittany, Indy, and Paloma with Nicole and Taylor being the only female exclusions. The alliance could have made history, but instead, the ladies chose to focus on other side alliances within the group. This left Brittany to feel like she wasn’t included and fueled the guys to form their alliance with her and Taylor out of anger for the way they, especially Taylor, had been treated by both the other females and males like Daniel out of the alliance. The Girls Girls Alliance concept backfired, but had the alliance included all the girls, they could have been a force to be reckoned with.

The Rogue Rats

The Rogue Rats consisted of just Daniel and Nicole, who were originally two of the most likable house guests on Big Brother 24. From day one, they realized they meshed well with one another, and would make sense to align. Daniel approached Nicole during the first week in the house and proposed they form a final two alliances. He was confident she was someone he could trust and she felt the same.

They both held to their alliance with Daniel being the sole vote to keep Nicole in the house when she was evicted by an almost unanimous decision. As far as solid alliances go, they would have been the Cody and Derrick of the season had Daniel not made the critical error of using the veto, thinking Taylor would go home instead of his closest ally.

Po’s Pack Alliance

It was a beautiful way to honor their friend, who decided to leave the show for the sake of her mental health, an admirable decision. Following her self-eviction, ranking her among the Big Brother contestants to quit the show, Paloma’s closest allies in the game formed this alliance, with the “Po” referencing Paloma.

It consisted of Monte, Ameerah, Kyle, Alyssa, Michael, and Nicole. And while the alliance hasn’t officially split, with some believing it still exists (evidenced, for example, when Nicole mentioned to Monte that they were aligned in the game), each person has teamed up with others they feel more comfortable working with. Considering two people from that alliance are gone, it’s safe to assume that by now, Po’s Pack has officially gone their separate ways. Though they didn’t accomplish anything, the fact that the players came together to show a former house guest watching at home that they had her back and supported her decision was reason alone to include Po’s Pack on the list.

Kyle And Alyssa

Alyssa and Kyle from Big Brother 24

Kyle and Alyssa don’t have an alliance since they never talk game much, other than when Alyssa expressed how she felt betrayed by Kyle when Ameerah was sent home. But after he and Daniel saved her from the block, Alyssa feels indebted to him. (Meanwhile, it was Daniel who made the decision, taking the weight off Kyle’s shoulders who was struggling with whether to save her or stick with his alliance’s plan.)

Nonetheless, showmances go one of two ways on the show: they make it to the end together in the game since they are two people who trust one another implicitly and work to save one another, or they are sent home because of it. Given how likable both are, they could end up making it all the way together, inadvertently helping one another by sharing information from their respective sides of the house. But it’s up in the air, which is why both rank in the middle of the pack in terms of houseguests with the best chance to win Big Brother 24, according to Reddit.

The Leftovers

So far, the strongest big alliance on the show is known as The Leftovers, a group that formed in protest when they realized the ladies were banding together to take the guys out. The Leftovers include Turner, Kyle, Joseph, Monte, Brittany, Taylor, and Michael. Formed during Turner’s HoH, it was Kyle’s idea to come together and flip the house upside down by secretly targeting Ameerah, who they called the “head of the snake” of the opposing alliance.

The fact that this group came together because they all felt like they were at the bottom of other alliances they were in, and to support Taylor, who they felt had been bullied and treated unfairly, makes it a wholesome but also lethal group out for revenge. They have managed to get out two targets, back-to-back. They have each paired up with a Festie Bestie not in the alliance to ensure their safety. (Michael and Brittany are excepted, but they still rank among the Festie Bestie pairs most likely to last in Big Brother 24.) And they have control of the numbers. This suggests that if they stick together, this group of seven is likely to make it to the end.

Michael And Brittany

Despite the strength of The Leftovers, the Festie Bestie pair Michael and Brittany are in the strongest position in the game. Michael can win competitions, he knows the game inside and out as a superfan, and he aligned himself with someone who considers him her number-one and who he is confident he could win against in the end should he be sitting beside her.

It’s the best alliance in the game but only benefits Michael unless Brittany is happy with a second-place prize. Once the pair twist is over, Michael will likely kick into high gear and start winning again. When he doesn’t, Brittany has the ear of the ladies outside of The Leftovers alliance who do not know she is aligned with the guys and who she can shift targets away from herself and Michael. It’s a brilliant pairing.
