Big Brother 24 houseguests Jasmine Davis and Matt "Turner" Turner had a hilarious rivalry throughout the season, but they shocked fans by getting matching muffin tattoos, in honor of Muffingate, after the show. Jasmine and Turner's funny relationship began when the mismatched duo became Festie Besties at the beginning of the game. Turner was frustrated by Jasmine's high maintenance behavior, especially after she sprained her ankle. He also was exasperated by her celebration of her birthday month. He spent a lot of time in the Diary Room imitating the way she spoke, all in good fun. Muffingate began when Jasmine was irked after she discovered that someone had eaten half of a muffin that she had been saving for herself. She suspected that it was Turner, who denied everything. Muffingate became a very funny storyline on Big Brother 24, culminating with Turner confessing his "crime" on finale night.

In a surprising twist, Jasmine and Turner got matching muffin tattoos after Big Brother 24 ended. In an Instagram post, Turner debuted the tattoos in a series of pictures. Both muffin tattoos feature a half-eaten muffin. Jasmine's tattoo is a single muffin on her ankle, while Turner's is on his leg and surrounded by two flowers. Turner captioned the photo "Matching Festie Bestie Muffin Tattoos! Super Mega BUSSIN," which, in Turner-speak, is the highest compliment. According to Big Brother Network, they went to Alium Tattoo Studio in Los Angeles to get their matching muffin tattoos.

Turner's Instagram post indicates that his relationship with Jasmine might not end with Big Brother 24. He concluded it by writing, "HIT US UP @TheAmazingRace." If they really joined the show, Turner and Jasmine would not be the first Big Brother duo to compete on The Amazing Race, as several other houseguests have appeared. Big Brother 19 couple Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson even won the million dollar prize in 2018. Big Brother 23 couple Claire Rehfuss and Derek Xiao are currently contestants on The Amazing Race 34. Turner also included an Instagram story with a picture of him and Jasmine captioned, "Who wants a podcast?"

Turner and Jasmine came together as Festie Besties, although they did not seem likely to form a lasting friendship. However, things seem to have taken a turn for the better for them outside the Big Brother house. A podcast between them would be so much fun to listen to, and it might be similar to Janelle Pierzina and McCrae Olson's Diary Room Open Mic podcast. Their opposite personalities would mesh perfectly as they discussed different topics with their distinct ways of speaking, including Jasmine's over-the-top similes and Turner's own vocabulary.

One of the reasons Big Brother is such an interesting show is because it brings together people from all over the country who might have never met otherwise, and it creates a social experiment. Jasmine and Turner come from seemingly different worlds, but they found common ground and formed a lasting friendship. They are forever bonded by their muffin tattoos, and Muffingate will live on forever in Big Brother memory. Jasmine and Turner are cuter than a half-eaten muffin tattoo on Jasmine's ankle.
