Following last week's live eviction ceremony, longtime Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves announced to viewers that a new twist would be shaking up the house, which split the house in two with the addition of a double eviction. While announcing the new twist, Julie was quite vague as to how to twist will play out, leaving fans both excited and curious. Although Julie did not share many details regarding the season's latest twist, many rumors were circulating the Internet predicting what may occur during Thursday's live show.

So far, this season of Big Brother has already had two different game twists. At the start of the season, the Backstage Pass twist took place; however, it quickly came to an end when Paloma Aguliar self-evicted from the game. Following the conclusion of the Backstage Pass twist, Julie announced the Festie Bestie twist would take over the game. This twist consisted of the houseguests playing the game in teams of two. Last week Julie revealed to the houseguests that they will no longer be playing in teams. The game then returned to an individual game.

As fans were eagerly anticipating the new Big Brother season 24 twist, they turned out to be exactly what Julie said. The house will be split into two, with one half living outside the house while the other half's living inside. Also, two separate games will be played all week, concluding with a double eviction on Thursday. After last Thursday night's live eviction, Julie announced that this week's eviction episode will be two hours long, and the twist is something that has never taken place on Big Brother before. The longtime Big Brother host explained the "house will be split into two" during the extended episode. She added that two groups of houseguests will have no communication, and two completely separate games will play out. Therefore, there will be two different HOH reigns, sets of nominees, Veto winners, and evictions throughout the week. A double eviction will then take place; however, it will not be a traditional double eviction.

Viewers were initially left confused as to how this new twist will unfold. Twitter account @BBGossip, was correct in their predictions as they revealed that half of the house will be living in the backyard while the other half will remain inside the house for the entire week. It is unclear how this will work since the bathrooms are indoors; however, the Twitter account assumed that port-a-potties would be added to the backyard. Another major concern with this twist is Big Brother wall yellers. These are individuals who try to tell the houseguests information from the other side of the house walls while they are in the backyard.

A majority of the details surrounding this twist remain unknown; however, the live feeds are spoiling which houseguests will be staying inside and who is moving outside. Julie was not kidding when she said this is a twist like no other. There is no doubt this new game twist will divide the house more than ever. So much so that the dominating Leftovers alliance may be forced to break up. As Julie always says, you have to "Expect the Unexpected" when living inside the Big Brother house. staying
