Tiffany Mitchell, the legendary Big Brother 23 houseguest, said that CBS should call Big Brother "The House That Tiff Built." The 41-year-old contestant, who most recently competed on The Challenge: USA, won the $50,000 America's Favorite Player prize on her Big Brother season. Tiffany was a member of The Cookout alliance, along with Azäh Awasum, Hannah Chaddha, Derek Frazier, Kyland Young, and winner Xavier Prather, whose mission was to crown the first Black winner in Big Brother history.

In order to achieve this goal, Tiffany came up with the Master Plan, a strategy that helped the entire Cookout alliance to make it to the Final 6. The Master Plan had each member of the Cookout choose a plus-one with whom they would share a place on the chopping block as a pawn. This would disguise the Cookout, while also ensuring that every week they had the votes to keep their members safe. Fans were in awe of this plan, and, although Tiffany was the first member of the Cookout to leave the game, her strategy did eventually lead to the victory of the first Black Big Brother winner.

In a tweet, Tiffany declared that Big Brother should give her credit for her strategy in the house during Big Brother 23, since they are using it in Big Brother 24. She wrote, "Not only did BB paint the house in my favorite color (Tiffany Blue) but they also implemented my Master Plan as a twist. At this point just call this The House That Tiff Built (CBS just say you want me) #BB24 #TiffanysHouse." The twist to which Tiffany is referring is the Besties Twist, which has taken over the Big Brother 24 house. During the twist, the houseguests were paired up with contestants of their choice after the HOH competition. Whoever is paired with the Big Brother HOH is safe for the week, but only the HOH can nominate people for eviction. One pair will be nominated, and they will play with the HOH duo and one duo chosen during the veto draw. If the veto is used, then both members of the pair are saved, and a new pair is nominated as the replacement. One person from the nominated duo will be evicted, while the one who survives the block will receive a power.

The reason Tiffany believes the Besties Twist is actually the Master Plan is because the Big Brother 24 six-person Poe's Pack alliance, which is made up of Monte Taylor, Kyle Capener, Alyssa Snider, Michael Bruner, Ameerah Jones, and Nicole Layog, strategically paired themselves with people outside of their alliance so that they could guarantee their safety. The pairs are Turner and Jasmine, Joseph and Monte, Daniel Durston and Kyle, Indy Santos and Alyssa, Michael and Brittany Hoopes, Ameerah and Terrance Higgins, and Nicole and Taylor. This is identical to the Cookout's Master Plan because Poe's Pack will be guaranteed safety if they vote together.

Many people supported Tiffany's tweet, including Cookout member Hannah, who tweeted "lol @ production taking the master plan & turning it into a whole twist. @absolutelytiff your mind #BB24." However, longtime Big Brother fans were quick to point out that The Brigade alliance in season 12 executed a similar strategy first. A fan named Stina Monique reminded Tiffany, "Girl I love you but there were queens that came before you too." Tiffany responded, "100% never said there weren't (everything isn't a diss)." Another Big Brother fan exchange indicated that Tiffany might not have been completely serious about what she said. Tdactyl wrote, "It's like some people just cannot stand to give you your props, or even try to understand something of your sense of humor." Tiffany responded, "It's the lack of humor for me [facepalm emoji]." Another Twitter user, Ethan wrote, "Tiffany we all love you but Janelle, Rachel, Dr. Will, Dan, Danielle Reyes, etc. also created that house. It's a group effort that makes the BB house what it is today," to which Twitter user imblack responded, "You can add her to that list of legends."

Whether or not Big Brother production consciously used Tiffany's Master Plan to create the Big Brother 24 Besties Twist, viewers cannot deny the indelible mark that she made on the game. It is rare that a houseguest creates a strategy that becomes legendary, and Tiffany deserves credit for what she achieved. She may not have meant that she built the entire Big Brother house, but rather, based on her hashtag, she wanted credit for helping to create the season 24 Besties Twist. Although fans are right to say that she did not single-handedly build the Big Brother house, she certainly helped to renovate it with her electrifying gameplay.
