In under a week, the Big Brother 23 premiere will take place, and we're here to share information about BB23 houseguest Sarah Steagall. CBS has given fans a fun glimpse into the new season by introducing them to the 16 cast members who will be vying for the big grand prize this summer. Fans are psyched up for the upcoming season. They can't wait to see the cast and enjoy the season's twists. Most viewers found the last season disappointing, and they're hoping that season 23 will be different.
Amongst the 16 new houseguests is Sarah Steagall. Sarah is currently 27 years old. Similar to her soon-to-be fellow houseguest Tiffany Mitchell, Sarah will celebrate a birthday while inside the Big Brother house, should she make it to August 9 without being evicted. She is originally from Boiling Springs, South Carolina; however, she now lives in Ft. Myers, Florida. There, she works as a forensic scientist. According to her bio at the CBS website, Sarah describes herself as "sweet, quirky, and self-driven." In her free time, she enjoys shopping, sewing, and singing, amongst other hobbies.
In her bio, Sarah revealed that she has a speech impediment which ultimately caused her to be "unable to communicate clearly" until the age of seven. Now, she is excited to talk to the cameras while inside the Big Brother house. She also can't wait to vent while inside of the Diary Room, as most players tend to do. If she could bring anything into the house with her, it would be music and gum, because chewing gum helps her to focus. She would also pack her Japanese language textbooks so that she can continue studying. Sarah has recently been working hard to learn the language and fears she will forget what she has already learned while away from home.
Although she is thrilled to be a part of BB23, Sarah is worried about two things while living inside the Big Brother house: being cold and putting up with ants. She has heard from past players that the house is always cold. Also, because most houseguests typically do not clean up after themselves, the house usually has an ant problem. Sarah said, "The only thing I hate more than being cold is dealing with ants!" As for game strategy, Sarah plans to be a floater. She wants to convince her fellow houseguests that she is not a threat.
Sarah's favorite life quote, which is pretty on point for heading into the Big Brother house, is, "Life is chaotic and mostly out of your control, so just do your best!" This game can definitely be chaotic and crazy but it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Here's hoping that Sarah is able to grab the half-million-dollar first place prize.
