Even though Big Brother 23 just premiered last week, a finale date has already been slated for late September. After an ultimately disappointing All-Stars season last summer, longtime viewers of the show were both excited and nervous for the new season this year. So far, however, the fans have been quite impressed with what they've seen.

Last week, the viewers were introduced to 16 brand-new houseguests for Big Brother 23. Going into the competition, these individuals thought they were getting a chance at winning the series' traditional $500,000 grand prize. Alas, to their surprise and the surprise of many fans as well, the Big Brother grand prize was raised to $750,000 for the first time in the history of the show. This raise has certainly sparked a fire in the houseguests to play even harder this summer.

Even though Big Brother 23 is just getting started, a season finale date for BB23 has already been confirmed. Deadline shared a full list of CBS' fall schedule, including both premiere dates and finale dates for some of the network's biggest shows. The live season finale for Big Brother 23 is set to air on Wednesday, September 29. Similar to that of previous years, the finale will be a special two-hour episode. It will begin at 9pm ET and run until 11pm ET. The finale will air directly after a new episode of Survivor.

Big Brother typically airs on a Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday schedule. The Head of Household competition - along with the nominations ceremony - takes place during Sunday night's episode. On Wednesday, the houseguests battle it out for the Power of Veto. Then, on Thursday, they vote to evict one of the nominated houseguests. According to the September TV schedule for CBS, Big Brother will not air on Sunday, September 12 nor the following week on Sunday, September 19. However, there will be a new episode during the Sunday prior to the live finale (September 26). This will most likely be the recap episode during which the final three houseguests reflect on the season's best and worst moments and then undergo the first part of the final Head of Household competition. It is unclear why the show will divert from its usual schedule during September.

Although only two episodes of season 23 have aired so far, there has been way more drama and entertainment than that of previous years. The cast instantly connected, quickly growing a strong dynamic amongst the bunch. As such, the fans better buckle up for one crazy summer. A lot can happen between now and the finale on September 29. As host Julie Chen Moonves always says on the show, "Expect the unexpected."
