There has been much talk about the upcoming season of Big Brother.  Multiple leaks seem to confirm that this season will be an All-Stars season, something fans have been wanting for years. Fans have been speculating about houseguests that will return and some veterans have been rumored to be confirmed.

While there are plenty of returnees fans would love to see, that doesn't mean they are all likely to appear. For example, Vanessa Rousso and her wife recently welcomed 3 infants to their family, so while Vanessa would surely be a player welcomed back, the likelihood of her agreeing to return currently is extremely low. Additionally, some older fan favorites seem to have moved on and anyone who was eligible for the first all-stars season seems unlikely to be invited back. So let's explore houseguests that are actually likely return due to their gameplay and lack of glaring commitments.

Howard Overby

Season 15 of Big Brother was wracked with controversy. Much of this controversy was due to racism perpetrated by houseguests Aaryn and GinaMarie. Howard and Candice were the primary targets of many of these racist attacks. Howard remained calm, eloquently explaining his points and supporting Candice. Howard was so loved for his kind-heart that he went on to place in the top 3 for America's Favorite Houseguest.

Though Big Brother has a history of avoiding bringing back players from this season due to the surrounding controversy, they have vowed to be more diverse in their casting and more transparent about their houseguests. This would be the perfect time to bring back Howard.

Derrick Levasseur

Season 16 Derrick is considered one of the greatest players in Big Brother history by many. He created many strategies - such as forming a large power alliance - that impacted the way future contestants have played the game.

Many current houseguests try to emulate some of his strategies and he is widely acclaimed for being able to make it all of the way to final 2 without ever having been nominated for eviction. Having an all-star season without this player would seem wrong to many.

Johnny Mac

Johnny Mac, the rock and roll dentist, gained the adoration of fans during Big Brother 17. This was largely due to his hilarious diary room sessions which resulted in him placing in top 3 for America's Favorite Houseguest.

Johnny made some interesting strategical moves, agreeing to be a pawn on multiple occasions and floating his way to the final 3. Johnny Mac is still active in the Big Brother community, engaging in conversation online and attending in-person events. As a dentist and musician, he's likely been out of work due to COVID-19, so he'd likely take the chance to get back into the house.

Victor Arroyo

Victor made history in Big Brother 18 when he was the first houseguest to battle his way back into the house twice. He was a competition beast and power player in the game. Victor was finally evicted in 5th place but went on to win America's Favorite Houseguest.

Many fans would love to see this strong player get another chance to win it all. It is clear the Victor has stayed on good terms with production as he returned to the house during BB21 to propose to former Big Brother winner Nicole Franzel whom he met in the house.

Josh Martinez

Josh was the winner of Big Brother 19. This contestant is known for being loud and obnoxious and he was at the center of a lot of drama this season. Many fans do not like Josh but production is known for casting a player or two who fans "love to hate."

Josh has also gone on to join The Challenge cast and loves talking about how he won Big Brother. It seems clear that he would jump at the opportunity to get back into the house.

Tyler Crispen

Tyler was the runner-up of season 20. He also won America's Favorite Houseguest and fans expected him to win. Tyler was a great strategist. He masterminded the evictions of many of the houseguests and even convinced allies to target each other, successfully drawing the target away from himself and his allies.

Tyler also did well in competitions, winning 3 HOHs and 3 POVs. Tyler is considered one of the strongest players in recent seasons and his gameplay definitely qualifies him for all-stars.

Bayleigh Dayton

Another season 20 contestant likely to appear on Big Brother is Bayleigh. Though Bayleigh didn't go super far in the game, finishing in 11th place and becoming the first member of the jury, she has managed to make a name for herself. Bayleigh met her husband Swaggy C on her season and he proposed on finale night.

The two have gathered a huge social media following and have joined some other former BB players on The Challenge, where they both played very impressive games. The internet has been calling for Bayleigh's return and through Swaggy says he can't leave his business right now, Bayleigh's reentry seems possible. Bayleigh also had an explosive fight with Tyler, which would make for an interesting connection if the two were both invited back into the house.

Elissa Slater

Elissa is another houseguest from the controversial season 15. Elissa was considered by many to be the best part of season 15. She went on to win America's Favorite Houseguest after placing 6th in the season.

Elissa is the sister of Big Brother legend Rachel Reilly, but Elissa managed to make a name for herself as a player, rather than just being "Rachel Reilly's sister." With Rachel pregnant and unable to return, fans won't get to see the sisters play the game side by side. However, Elissa seems to be a strong contender for All-Stars, especially considering how active she is in the Big Brother community in-person and online.

Kemi Fakunle

Season 21 was riddled with as much controversy as season 15. There were several racist houseguests who targetted the minority players, sending them out of the game quickly. These racist houseguests also bullied several of the minority cast members and engaged in hateful conversations among themselves.

The houseguest who faced the majority of these racist attacks was Kemi and many fans were furious that she didn't get a real shot to play the game. Fans have demanded that Kemi be given another shot at winning the prize money, and if production was genuine in their promise to be more mindful in their casting, it is likely Kemi will be invited back.

Nicole Anthony

Another adored houseguest from season 21 is Nicole. This Big Brother superfan displayed kindness and compassion in the house. Though she was also the subject of bullying, she continued to remain positive and was a beacon of light for most fans. Though many were hoping she would win it all, Nicole went on to place 3rd, although she did win America's Favorite Houseguest.

This quirky player has continued to spread her love for Big Brother through online platforms and has connected with several BB alum. Having this superfan on Big Brother All-Stars would be a treat for all.
