Christmas Abbott, Cody Calafiore, Daniele Donato Briones, Memphis Garrett, Nicole Franzel, and Tyler Crispen are in the Committee alliance on Big Brother 22: All-Stars, but they certainly hold different levels of power. Every modern season of Big Brother has been run by large groups that forge dominant alliances. More often than not, the plan is for these alliances to consist of very competitive players that can win most Head of Household and Power of Veto competitions. Given that these alliances include large groups of people, they also usually get a say in how the HOH and POV decisions are made throughout the season.

From the very start on Big Brother 22, two six-person alliances were formed. First, there was the Slick Six, which consisted of Bayleigh, Cody, Daniele, Da'Vonne, Enzo, and Tyler. Parallel to that was formed the Committee alliance between Christmas, Cody, Daniele, Memphis, Nicole, and Tyler. Over the weeks, many of the Committee alliance members were informed that the Slick Six existed. However, the opposite was not true. Enzo found out about the Committee by accident, and Bayleigh and Da'Vonne were left to speculate how those individuals were all aligned together. After Christmas' nominations of Bayleigh and Da'Vonne, it's become clear that the Committee is the true dominant group of the house.

During Janelle and Kaysar's Big Brother: All-Stars evictions, host Julie Chen credited Memphis for creating the Committee alliance, which heavily implied that he was running the group. In truth, Memphis is absolutely not leading the Committee alliance. It is Cody who's at the very top of that food chain, and Nicole is a close second. For one, Cody and Nicole are the only two alliance members that have not been considered as backdoor options yet. Moreover, they managed to manipulate the entire house to target their direct rivals Janelle and Kaysar. Daniele and Tyler hold similar positions within the Committee: they're involved in the group's decision-making process, but their allies have a hard time trusting their gameplay. The Committee members have openly discussed backdooring Dani, and Cody is very keen on getting Tyler out as soon as possible. Last but not least, there are Christmas and Memphis.

For widely different reasons, there have been huge targets in the Big Brother 22 house from the very start. Given how competitive they are, Memphis and Christmas have been instrumental in evicting those targets so far. However, they fail to realize that they're pretty big targets as well. In fact, Cody and Tyler have openly discussed that Memphis has already made a few enemies in the house... and would likely be taken out during an HOH reign from David, Kevin, or Ian. Moreover, Nicole and Dani theorized that Christmas would eventually have an argument with someone... and just like that, Christmas did start the biggest fight of the season during an interaction with Bayleigh and Da'Vonne. Ultimately, Memphis and Christmas are important to the Committee not only because they can win competitions, but also because they'll serve as shields for everyone else down the line.

As the weeks go by, it's becoming harder and harder to believe that another dominant alliance will emerge halfway through the game and defeat this group. With that said, this has certainly been done before, so fans shouldn't completely rule out that possibility just yet.
