Victor Arroyo and Nicole Franzel were just friends on Big Brother 18, but they eventually got engaged after their time on the show. Victor entered the BB18 house as a 25-year-old gym manager. His family was originally from Puerto Rico, but he resided in Slidell, Louisiana. From the start, it was clear that Victor was very passionate about working out, even nicknaming himself "el fit Vic" (Spanish for "the fit Vic"). In the house, he was the closest to Paul Abrahamian and Jozea Flores. In total, Victor was evicted three times from BB18. That is because the season featured two reentry opportunities for evictees to fight their way back into the game, and he won both.

Nicole Franzel was already a Big Brother 16 star by the time that she was cast as a veteran player on season 18. During her first time on the show, Nicole was praised by many fans and contestants for being a competitive and smart houseguest. However, the male-dominated BB16 definitely didn't leave any room for Nicole (or any other female player) to succeed. During her second time in the series, Nicole was a 23-year-old ER nurse who still lived in her hometown of Ubly, Michigan. She did develop a showmance on Big Brother 18, but not with Victor. They only found each other after the season was over.

Over the years, BB18 star Victor Arroyo has made quite a few appearances on TV. Immediately after competing on season 18 and winning the fan-voted title of America's Favorite Houseguest, he was given a role on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2018, both Victor and Nicole were featured on Big Brother 20 - he proposed to her and she said "I do." Between 2018 and 2019, Victor was featured on two other reality competition shows, The Challenge: Vendettas and The Amazing Race 31. Then, Victor moved to Michigan to live with Nicole and went through a major career change in 2019: he spent five months training to become a law enforcement officer for the Michigan State Police. In an interview with the Huron Daily-Tribune, Victor said that he was inspired by his father and sister, who were in the U.S. Navy, and his mother, who used to be a police officer in Louisiana.

The Big Brother: All-Stars fans have heard a lot about Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo's wedding on the live feeds, particularly because several BB alumni were invited to the party. The wedding was initially scheduled for a much earlier date, but a few different circumstances pushed the event to a later date. First, Victor was still adjusting to his new career as a police officer. Secondly, the COVID-19 pandemic forced a lot of people to delay birthdays, weddings, and similar celebratory events in order to respect the social distancing guidelines. Then, the couple had to stay silent for a while about Nicole's casting on BB22, but that was yet another reason to reschedule the ceremony. At this point, the destination wedding will take place in the Caribbean and be held in December.

The fans have loved keeping up with Victor and Nicole since they first met on Big Brother 18. It's been a long journey for them to get here, but they seem happier than ever together.
