That includes driving him to the dentist and cooking for him. Indeed, he pretty much wants his wife to take his mother's place. He expects her to do everything for him too. Later, Bernadette tells him that she's pregnant. Instead of being happy, he freaks out. He's finally getting what he wants and doesn't want it. Indeed, she changes her mind until he freaks out. He freaks out again when they have their second kid. He claims to want to be a dad but then doesn't.

Bernadette is a small and innocent looking woman. However, don't let her size and looks fool you. She's tough, mean and scary. In fact, Howard is clearly afraid of her. That doesn't stop him for lying but when she finds out it's over. She often mocks him and puts him down. She never lets him forget that she makes more money and could do better. To be fair, he's not the only one afraid of her. She scares the rest of the group too. As a matter of fact, she scares both Penny and her boss.

HOWARD BECOMES A TROPHY HUSBAND

At one point, Bernadette lands a high paying job. In fact, she starts earning a lot more than her husband. It's safe to say she's the richest. The dynamics shift in their relationship. Indeed, Howard becomes a trophy husband. She even starts buying him little gifts. At first, his friends tease him but it doesn't seem to bother him. Later, he's not happy with it but soon accepts it. It starts to annoy his friends but they don't say anything. However, Bernadette has no problem telling him to stop. She just can't handle it. THE THERAPIST TRICK

Before meeting Bernadette, Howard's most serious relationship was with Raj. The two best friends went everywhere together. They even saw a therapist when things got bad. Howard and Bernadette use a trick he learned in therapy. However, it ends up backfiring. They start out saying one thing they love about the other. It's all going good until they start getting mean. Howard's mother's passing made fans cry all over the world. Clearly, he had a difficult time with her passing. In fact, they decided to live in his childhood home. For Halloween, Bernadette and Howard team up to make fun of Sheldon. In fact, she designs Howie's Halloween Sheldon costume. The joke is both funny and a little mean. Sheldon becomes so sad that he takes off his costume. Bernadette and Howard show little remorse for hurting Sheldon's feelings. They feel he does it to them all the time. The difference is Sheldon doesn't know he's doing it. Later, Sheldon and Amy dress up as Bernadette and Howard to get revenge. Bernadette is so furious that Sheldon has to say he's sorry.

BERNADETTE KNOWS SHE'S SMARTER BUT PRETENDS HOWARD IS

For the first few seasons, Howie struggles to meet a woman. Later, Penny introduces him to Bernadette. He finally met someone that likes him back. At first, she was a bit different. Howard finally ends up with the girl of his dreams but he has a tough time committing. Before Bernadette, he had quite the dating past. He wasn't very successful but he did have his fun. Once he started seeing Bernadette he didn't give it all up. In fact, he was once unfaithful to her. Of course, it wasn't in real life but in the game World of Warcraft. In the game, he meets a troll and Bernadette walks in on them. In real life, she's so angry that she ends things. Later, he admits his mistake and wins her back.

BERNADETTE HIDES IN THE CLUBHOUSE

Bernadette learns that it's not easy being a superstar at work and raising two kids. Even with Howie staying home things are tough. At one point, she decides to hide out in the kid's clubhouse with Penny and Amy. She does this to avoid having to help Howard with the kids. She's aware that he's having a tough time but doesn't care. To be fair, he aware that she's hiding in the clubhouse. In fact, he plans on using it against her later. He admits that he forgot to get insurance and now has something to throw in her face.

BERNADETTE RUBS IT IN THAT SHE MAKES MORE MONEY

As noted, Bernadette has a high paying job and earns the most. She makes for more than Howie. He might have gone to space but she makes all the money. In fact, she often reminds him that she does. At one point, she tries to play a video game with him. When she's unable to beat him she mocks him for making less money than her. Of course, she also turns him into a trophy husband. She enjoys reminding him she makes more money and rubbing it in.
