Everyone's favorite scientists on The Big Bang Theory spend most of their time at home or at Caltech where they work in their respective fields. However, when it's time to blow off some steam and enjoy some downtime, Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, and Raj head to the comic book store. Funny enough, the comic book store is actually called The Comic Center of Pasadena but they only refer to it as the comic book store.

The gang eventually remembers that they used Leonard's laptop and transported the Bitcoins to a flash drive. But where was the flash drive? Sheldon said he placed the flash drive on Leonard's keychain but Leonard reminded him that he lost that flash drive years ago. A flashback quickly came across the screen and showed Stuart finding the flash drive and selling it.

In "Meemaw Materialization," Howard and Raj get into an argument over Frozen while browsing for comics. When a beautiful woman named Claire overhears them, she joins their conversation and introduces herself. Although Raj had a girlfriend at the time, he was taken by Claire and met with her at the comic book store again to talk about a screenplay she was writing. Seeing Raj fall for another woman while talking about comics and space was a fun one for his character.

"The Comet Polarization"

In the final two seasons of The Big Bang Theory, Stuart's comic book store finally becomes successful. He happily accepts all the new customers and had to quickly hire help. He ended up hiring a woman named Denise who was incredibly knowledgable on comics and was the perfect fit. As always, however, Sheldon hated change and loathed that so many people were in the store now. Knowing that someone else besides Stuart was working there also set him off. Sheldon decided to quiz Denise to see if she had what it took to work there and it became fairly obvious that she did. Denise even suggested a new comic for Sheldon!

He used his sadness as leverage for a new toy from the comic book store, which Penny made Leonard buy for him. This mother and father dynamic that Leonard and Penny had with Sheldon was one of the best.

In "The Good Guy Fluctuation," Leonard was feeling down because he was in a long distance relationship with Raj's sister Priya. The distance was getting to him and he was lonely. But when an attractive girl named Alice introduced herself to Leonard at the comic book store and asked him out, he suddenly regained all his confidence. When the guys went away to Bakersfield for a comic book convention, the women stayed back to learn more about their partners' main hobby: comic books. Penny, Bernadette, and Amy slowly walked into the comic book store knowing that all eyes were on them. Stuart didn't get too many women in the store, so when he did it was a big deal. The ladies asked Stuart what kind of comics the guys usually bought but when Penny asks him who the best superhero is, Stuart quickly tells her to be quiet as she could start a "rumble." It was a fun episode to see the girls so out of place.

In season three, Sheldon and Raj joined a Mystic Warlords of Ka'a tournament at the comic book store. While Sheldon and Raj were good at the game, they were mainly going to the tournament for a chance to meet—and diss—Wil Wheaton. Sheldon had a personal vendetta against Wil ever since he canceled a meet-and-greet he was supposed to do when Sheldon was younger. Since then, Sheldon wanted to make him pay. Funny enough, when Raj and Sheldon played against Wil, Sheldon lost on purpose after taking a liking to Wil. That feeling quickly faded when he found out Wil was lying to him throughout the night.

"The Scavenger Vortex"

Raj is a born showman. He loves themed events and would have thrown 100 of them if his friends would tag along. In "The Scavenger Vortex," Raj put together an epic scavenger hunt around Pasadena and paired everyone up into twos. One of the clues led them to the comic book store. And as they slowly filtered in, Stuart hilariously asked them if they ever thought of him when planning fun things. Watching Bernadette yell at Leonard while Penny and Sheldon were thriving was one of the best parts.

"The Perspiration Implementation"

In "The Perspiration Implementation," the ladies are invited to the comic book store so Stuart could ask them questions as unbiased guests in his store. After a plethora of negative reviews written by women who visited his store, Howard picked their brains to find out how the store could be less creepy. Watching the ladies go over all of the sexist and uncomfortable things in the comic book store was legendary.

"The Justice League Recombination"

Season four's "The Justice League Recombination" was an emotional one for Penny but it ended up being a great episode. With Penny and Leonard being broken up, she started dating Zack again to fill the void. But when it's New Year's Eve and Zack wants to spend it at the comic book store with Leonard and co., Penny had no choice but to play along. Being with her new boyfriend and ex-boyfriend made her uncomfortable because it was clear that she wasn't over Leonard. What made this episode great was everyone dressing up as their favorite Justice League of America character.
