Amy Farrah Fowler did the impossible when she got Sheldon Cooper to not only date her, but marry her and share a bed with her. Fans never stopped rooting for Amy to get her man. Love really concurred all in this relationship. Here are Amy's 10 funniest quotes about love:

"From that first moment in that coffee shop, I knew there was something special between us even though I did work on a study a study that disproved love at first sight."

Sheldon and Amy's vows were beautifully written and every fan wiped away a tear as they had all been waiting for this day for years. The couple first met in season 3 after they matched on a dating site thanks to Howard and Raj. They first in person at a coffee shop where they awkwardly discovered they have somethings in common.

In season 10, Sheldon and Amy finally got married. They have come along way since that first date. This relationship proved that love will find a way into even the most skeptic of hearts.

"It would be nice to be with a man who wants to know what's underneath my cardigan. FYI, it's another cardigan."

Amy is an intelligent and brilliant scientist, but she is a woman, and women have needs. It was no secret she struggled sometimes with Sheldon's inability to show affection towards her. Instead Amy opts to wear not one, but two cardigans. Nothing gets someone in the mood for making whoopie like two cardigans! It worked though, as after a few years Amy finally wore Sheldon down.

"Oh yes, our relationship agreement specifies that the second Thursday of every month , or the the third Thursday in a month with five Thursdays, is date night."

Sometimes in life couples get busy and forget to make time for each other, this is when scheduling a date night can be a good idea. It can also be a great idea when you're dating someone who is not affectionate, OCD, and you have to force him to do anything romantic with you.

Fans really have to hand it to Amy. She dug her heels in on this one as she wasn't backing down on getting at least one date night a month. As far as Sheldon goes, sometimes in life you have to make sacrifices for the people you love.

"Fine, it's true. I deserve romance and I didn't know how else to make it happen."

When you're in a relationship with someone like Sheldon you have to get a little bit creative in order to get your date to engage in romantic activities with you. No one understands Sheldon better than Amy. When other people get annoyed and impatient with him, Amy is patient and compassionate. This was proven in season 8, episode 8 "The Prom Equivalency" when Amy wanted to tell Sheldon she loves him.

Amy loves Sheldon so much that she wanted to tell him how she feels about him without getting anything in return. That is a perfect example of what real love is. But Sheldon did not disappoint fans or Amy as before she could even finish what she was saying, Sheldon said, "I love you too."

"Well, I turned this one into a functioning boyfriend, so sky's the limit."

Amy defied the odds when she actually got Sheldon Cooper to act like a real boyfriend. Not only did Sheldon's friends think it would never happen, but neither did the fans. And Amy herself probably never thought it would either! It was certainly a long road for the couple.

Sheldon wasn't always the only one in the relationship to be overly logical when it came to love. In season 4 when Amy and Sheldon's relationship was still new, Amy made it clear that she didn't buy into the whole love thing. But people's hearts can change, even skeptical scientists.

This quote proves how much Amy's character has evolved over her 9 seasons on The Big Bang Theory. Amy started out being just as analytical about love as Sheldon was, but somewhere along the way she discovered she wanted and deserved love in her life.

"If Sheldon proposed to me during sex, my ovaries would grab onto him and never let go."

There have been many times during The Big Bang Theory's 12 seasons where fans have grimaced because of something Amy said. In season 6, episode 1 "The Date Night Variable" Amy once again made fans blush with embarrassment as she discussed what she would do if Sheldon proposed to her while they were in bed together.

Amy has never been very skilled at keeping her thoughts to herself, especially when it comes to sex and her feelings about Sheldon. But fans have to admire the way she lays everything out on the table. More relationships could use Amy's honesty.

"I slept with him. I married him. You want to bet against me."

Howard might have gone to space, but Amy is the true hero of the series as she is the only person who has gotten Sheldon Cooper to break down his barriers and be in a loving, albeit sometimes uncomfortable, committed relationship.

Amy proved she is not one to quit what she has started as she never threw in the towel with Sheldon. It may have taken years, but Amy did get Sheldon to not only marry her, but to also engage in coitus with her which was something he was never interested in before. Amy really should write a book on relationship advice. It would undoubtedly be a best seller.

"I don't know what the future but I know I've never been happier than I am in this moment marrying you."

Many fans believed they would never see the day when Amy and Sheldon would finally say "I do." But when that day finally arrived in season 10, every fan tried to hold back tears when the couple exchanged their vows. Amy beautifully articulated how she felt about finally marrying the love of her life.

Sheldon did not make it easy for Amy and the couple went through many ups and downs over the years. Even after everything they had been through the couple, especially Amy, never stopped trying to make their unconventional relationship work. Their love and dedication paid off though as their love truly overcame the impossible.
