Better Nate Than Ever is set to release on Disney+ on April 1, 2022. With Federle behind the screen as producer, director, and writer, the comedy musical certainly has potential for the streaming service. In addition to High School Musical: The Series, Federle is also one of the writers behind Ferdinand, a Golden Globe Award-nominated animated film. His experience in screenwriting and producing, combined with the fact that Better Nate Than Ever is his original story, will likely prove effective for this film adaption. The nabbing of actress and comedian Kudrow and High School Musical: The Series star Bassett also raises appeal for the series. Better Nate Than Ever's trailer illustrates a wide array of talent in a heartwarming film about chasing one's dreams that is sure to appeal to Disney's family audience.
