The latest trailer for Better Call Saul season 6 shows Gus Fring in his own residence. The AMC legal crime drama starring Bob Odenkirk has just concluded filming its final season 6, which has been underway since last year. This series is a direct spinoff of its predecessor, Breaking Bad, following Odenkirk's character of Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman. The spinoff show focuses on his Saul persona, and his journey to becoming a "criminal" attorney, along with the path of Johathan Banks' Mike Ehrmantraut. Throughout Better Call Saul season 1 to 5, the series has slowly integrated characters from Breaking Bad to coincide with its timeline.

Since the conclusion of Better Call Saul season 5, there have been many teasers as to how the events of the highly anticipated final season will play out. Season 6 will consist of 13 episodes, and many cast members, including Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn, along with co-creator and showrunner Peter Gould, have promised that the story will come full circle. Better Call Saul season 5 ended with many intense developments, which the final season will have to answer for. This includes Kim swaying more towards the dark side alongside Jimmy in taking down Howard Hamlin, and the rise of the war between Gus and Lalo Salamanca, with Nacho Varga caught in the battle.

Now, per FilmCon, Better Call Saul has released another trailer showing Gus Fring in his house. This is the latest teaser that the show has released, and the first that reveals Fring. Previous season 6 trailers featured a black and white flash-forward of Jimmy under the alias of Gene, and the return of the Salamanca twin cousins from Breaking Bad. The new trailer is brief, but it shows Frings arriving at his home and sighing as he closes the door. Check out the full clip below:

While many hints have been dropped about the final Better Call Saul season 6, the storyline is still being kept tightly under wraps. However, what part Gus will play in the upcoming battle between the series' characters, and how he ends up where he is during the Breaking Bad era, remains a mystery. Despite the cautious pacing of Better Call Saul season 1 to 5, the show has always managed to impressively connect events and characters from Breaking Bad to its successor, so no doubt Fring's story will be playing a big part in the final episodes.

With the events of the Better Call Saul season 5 finale and the flash-forwards that open each season, it is expected that Better Call Saul will veer towards ruthlessness and tragedy as it inches closer to the Breaking Bad timeline. The trailers released so far have also been picked apart for their clues hidden in plain sight, with Fring's house number and the letters on the crime scene with the Salamanca twins revealing the season 6 premiere date. More information is soon to come, and it will be exciting to begin the endgame when the first half of Better Call Saul season 6 arrives on April 18.
