Warning! Spoilers ahead for Better Call Saul season 6, episode 7.
A Better Call Saul season 6 trailer teases Jimmy confronting an intimidating threat in the upcoming final episodes of the AMC show. Acting as a spinoff of the critically-acclaimed Breaking Bad, AMC's Better Call Saul chronicles the downfall of attorney Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) into sleazy criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. The show has been a hit with both audiences and critics, recently airing the first 7 episodes of its 2-part sixth and final season. The remaining 6 episodes are set to conclude McGill's story, with a number of loose ends still remaining before the show catches up with the timeline of Breaking Bad.
Better Call Saul season 6 has significantly upped the ante when it comes to the action and the threats Jimmy is facing. Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton), in particular, has proven himself a deadly adversary after narrowly escaping the assassination attempt at his compound at the end of season 5. Better Call Saul season 6 episode 7 demonstrates Lalo's increasingly violent tendencies, seeing the character shoot Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian) in front of Jimmy and Kim (Rhea Seehorn) in their apartment. The episode ends on a major cliffhanger, with Jimmy and Kim's fate hanging in the balance before the premiere of Better Call Saul's final episodes.
In a short new trailer posted by the official Better Call Saul Twitter account, Jimmy can be heard talking to an unseen threat. In the clip, Jimmy confronts the unseen character, telling them, "I am not your friend," before warning them to stay away. The short trailer also features one of Jimmy's cell phones front and center, lighting up before the screen cuts to black. Check out the new trailer below:

It's unclear who Jimmy is confronting in the clip but, considering how the previous episode of Better Call Saul ended, it's possible that he's talking to Lalo. Of course, Lalo has a proven penchant for violence, perhaps making it unlikely that Jimmy would so blatantly stand up to him. While it remains to be seen who Jimmy is talking with, it's clear that the final episodes of Better Call Saul will see Jimmy faced with new threats and new decisions to make as he deals with the consequences of his actions from previous episodes and seasons.
While Jimmy is frequently able to get himself (and others) out of trouble using his wit and fast-talking nature, the remaining episodes of Better Call Saul season 6 tease that the character may face threats that are unlike those he's faced before. Jimmy obviously survives the events of the show considering he appears in Breaking Bad, but Kim, his wife, does not, leading many fans to worry that she won't make it through the series alive. Fortunately, fans don't have much longer to wait to find out who Jimmy is confronting in the new Better Call Saul trailer, with episode 7 only a couple of weeks away.
