Fans of the Breaking Bad universe have yet another reason to look forward to the second part of Better Call Saul's final season as it was recently revealed that Walter White and Jesse Pinkman's roles in it will be bigger than expected. Previously, it had been implied that the two would only make a cameo.

Although characters from the parent show have been favored a lot in the proceedings, the spinoff exclusive character, Kim Wexler, continues to impress. Throughout the 6 seasons, Kim has been depicted as a phenomenal career woman as well as a caring partner. However, there are details about Kim that fans might have missed.

Kim Never Meets Nacho And Gus

Kim works in the mail room in Better Call Saul

Kim meets every other main character except the Juarez cartel enforcer, Nacho, and Los Pollos Hermanos owner Gus Fring. The same applies to Nacho and Gus, who meet everyone else except Kim.

Better Call Saul is part legal drama and part crime drama and so far, Kim's arcs have mostly been restricted to courtrooms and offices. This explains why she has never met as the drug distributor hasn't had any legal problems yet. As for Nacho, she does come close to meeting him. She is once seen standing out of the room he is being interrogated in.

Her Age

In one of the best Better Call Saul episodes, Season 5's "JMM," Kim's year of birth can be spotted on her driver's license. The details on the license reveal that she was born in 1968.

Kim is, therefore, 8 years younger than Jimmy, who was born in 1960. This means that during the show's timeline, she is in her 30s. And there isn't such a huge difference between Kim and the actress that portrays her since Rhea Seehorn was born in 1972 (via Wall Street Journal). Bob Odenkirk, on the other hand, was born in 1962.

Her Childhood Earrings

Kim still wears the same earrings that she and her mother shoplifted when she was a teenager. This detail is disclosed in season 6's "Axe And Grind."

This little revelation further highlights Kim's frugal nature. As a successful lawyer, she can afford to buy the most expensive jewelry but she has never been the flashy kind of person. Even her apartment is a reflection of this. The shoplifting tale is similar to that of one of the most featured Breaking Bad characters, Marie.

A Young Kim

Fans are aware that the adult Kim is Rhea Seehorn but who is the younger Kim? The teenage version of Kim is portrayed by Katie Beth Hall in flashback scenes.

Like Seehorn, Beth Hall does a great job of portraying Kim and adding more weight to the character's background story. Via the flashback scenes, it becomes clear why Kim is initially so disciplined. She had to become a responsible person early in her life because she couldn't count on her mother to do the right thing. Beth Hall has also appeared in the Home Alone remake, Home Sweet Home Alone.

Her Appearance

Kim wears a business suit and keeps a tight ponytail throughout the first two seasons. She only wears casual clothing and loosens her ponytail after being involved in a car accident.

The car accident somehow acts as a light bulb moment for Kim, making her realize that she needs to stop focussing on her work too much and start enjoying life more. From there on. she becomes less judgemental of Jimmy and is more willing to participate in his schemes. Regrettably, that has come with its own risk.

The Cars She Drives

Rhea Seehorn as Kim in Better Call Saul season 6

Kim has driven 3 different models of cars throughout the series. These include a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse, a 2004 Audi A8, and a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville.

The Eclipse is her main car for a while but it stops being featured after she gets involved in an accident. Her Audi A8 is a symbol of progress since she gets it after being hired by Schweikart & Cokely. When she quits, she turns in the keys hence confirming that the car wasn't hers. Lately, she has settled for the much cheaper Pontiac Bonneville.

Kim Breaks Bad In Season 5

Kim Wexler Jimmy McGill Better Call Saul

In the first 4 seasons, Kim is depicted as a fairly nice person. However, after spending plenty of time with Jimmy, she finally starts engaging in shady dealings in season 5. Kim has many Better Call Saul schemes.

Initially, Kim isn't a vindictive person. That's why she forgives Howard for the multiple times he mistreats her. However, she slowly starts growing fond of Jimmy's Machiavellian games and is eventually influenced to participate in them. By season 5, she is more than happy to join him in hurting others for their own amusement. She is't afraid to mingle with drug dealers either. And in season 6, she even ridicules Howard when he complains about being harassed by Jimmy, something the old Kim would never do.

Job History

Howard refuses to give Jimmy a job in Better Call Saul

Kim has held five different jobs. She has been a litigator for HHM, a business lawyer for Wexler McGill and Mesa Verde Bank & Trust, the Head of Schweikart & Cokely's Banking Division, and a public defender.

This makes Kim the most decorated character on the show, career-wise. Unlike Jimmy, who has a questionable degree from the little-known University of American Samoa, Kim is well educated, having attended the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of New Mexico. Thanks to her educational background, getting a nice job isn't so hard for her.

There Is A Web Series About Her

The web series Ethics Training with Kim Wexler was released with season 5. The series features a couple of education videos and some exclusive scenes featuring her and Jimmy.

It's no shocker that the series is about "ethics training" since Kim is the most ethical person on the show. And what makes it different from the main show is that there are some animated segments too. Other similar web series tied to the show include Los Pollos Hermanos Employee Training and Madrigal Electromotive Security Training, hosted by Mike Ehrmantraut

Number Of Clients

Kim discusses a case with her client Paige in Better Call Saul

Interestingly, Kim has only fully represented 3 clients during her time on the series. These include Paige Novick, Kevin Wachtell, and Diana Pender.

Given how dedicated she has been to her job, this has come as a surprise to some. However, there's a good reason for the low number: Kim rarely cuts off clients. She has been shown to stick to anyone she is representing and help them out until they are out of trouble, even when the working relationship isn't so good.
