Death comes to Rosewood pretty often and over seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars, there are many strange murders and random disappearances. The cops tend to think that Alison DiLaurentis and her teenage pals are the reason for all of these issues, and while they're connected to the main mystery, they're not trying to create the mayhem and tragedy that is constantly taking place.

If zombies came to Rosewood, too, it wouldn't be all that shocking, as the residents are used to weird things happening. But while some main characters on PLL would be able to deal with this new world, others would definitely be afraid.

Want: Emily Fields

Emily Fields smiling on Pretty Little Liars

Many of Emily's plots involve her passion for swimming. This character is super athletic and she's definitely strong enough to fight off zombies.

Emily sometimes gets insecure and underestimates herself, but she could be a positive part of any zombie fighting team. Once she took a few deep breaths and got her head in the game, she would be determined to win, just like before a swim meet.

Wouldn't: Hanna Marin

Hanna Marin looking thoughtful on Pretty Little Liars

Hanna can be confusing and would run from zombies so fast, she wouldn't be any use on a team trying to come to terms with the new reality.

While Hanna has saved herself in many scenes, she has also been taken by "A" and run over by a car. When these events happen, she hides inside herself and gives into terror, and it doesn't seem like she would have the confidence that she would need to win against zombies.

Want: Ezra Fitz

Ezra smiling in Pretty Little Liars

While not a perfect character by any means, Ezra would do well in a zombie outbreak.

Of all the PLL characters, Ezra has probably come across some zombie stories in the literature that he loves so much. He might be more familiar with zombies than anyone else. He's also friendly and social, and these skills would enable him to help others. He would be a team player for sure.

Wouldn't: Aria Montgomery

Aria Montgomery at school looking serious on Pretty Little Liars

Aria is the kind of person who would whine that she couldn't believe there were zombies, and she would want Ezra to save her instead of trying to save herself or anyone else.

Aria can be a princess, as she gets upset when she doesn't get her way. She blames other people a lot, whether about problems that she's having with Ezra or her parents getting divorced. She doesn't seem mature enough to handle zombies and the political issues that would come up.

Want: Spencer Hastings

spencer hastings on pretty little liars

Spencer's PLL plots don't always make sense, but the character is a woman that others want to have around when fighting zombies.

Spencer doesn't suffer fools and has been through it all, from lying family members to a difficult path to happily ever after with Toby. One look at her and a zombie would cower. She would be a great survivor as she would create a schedule for everyone and be ahead of the curve when it comes to stocking up on supplies.

Wouldn't: Lucas Gottesman

Lucas on Pretty Little Liars

Lucas isn't as evil as some of the other characters but he's pretty wimpy. He manages to do well for himself after high school, but it's fair to say that his teen years are awful.

While he's a computer whiz, that isn't going to help much when zombies are taking over Rosewood and killing everyone. Toby is a fearful person who is nervous in social settings and it's very hard to picture him being in control of this terrifying situation.

Want: Toby Cavanaugh

Toby has both a great and horrible personality, depending on what situation he finds himself in.

He would be a powerful ally during a zombie apocalypse as he's definitely got some strength. He also is the most loyal character on the series, hands down. When it comes to protecting Spencer and her friends, he would never give up.

Wouldn't: Alison DiLaurentis

ali on pretty little liars

Ali is away from Rosewood for a long time, and when she returns, she's not the cruel girl she was. The fearless leader inside of her seems to have completely evaporated, and that doesn't make her a good candidate for surviving a zombie outbreak.

Ali didn't disappear properly, as she was always being followed and targeted, and she is less in control of her life than she thinks she is. She always seems afraid and that wouldn't help during this stressful time.

Want: Mona Vanderwaal

Janel Parish as Mona on Pretty Little Liars

Mona is funny and intelligent and she would make sure that Rosewood could move forward and thrive after being hit by zombies. While others might doubt her abilities to do that and say that it's too late, she would shrug off the criticism and continue with her plan.

Mona is the toughest character on the teen drama as she has been hated and feared, and yet she definitely survives some crazy things. From being stuck at Radley to escaping to Paris in the final episode, Mona knows how to get what she wants.

Wouldn't: Caleb Rivers

caleb rivers on pretty little liars

Hanna's PLL journey involves her soulmate Caleb, but the character wouldn't do well if there were zombies.

Caleb is more emotional and sensitive than some in Rosewood might think, and he and Hanna constantly butt heads over the danger and threats of "A." He doesn't like when she gets too involved and it takes them a while to have a peaceful relationship. Caleb spends a lot of time sitting around and moping, and that wouldn't give him a leg up here.
