Handguns, shotguns, sniper rifles, katanas, baseball bats, and more inhabit the coffers of Night City in Cyberpunk 2077. The stats and perks of these weapons vary with each playthrough, though, the typical assortment of buffs and other bonuses remain relatively static. During their travels, players may be on the lookout for the best weapons in the game and, depending on their character’s build and the gamer’s playstyle, there is a devastating weapon that fits into each archetypical category.
Whether found during a mission or a niche somewhere in Cyberpunk 2077’s open world, some of the best weapons in CD Projekt Red’s latest RPG can be found for free. Many of them can be found early in players’ exploration of Night City, though, in some instances, it may behoove players to level up a little before venturing into some of the areas in which their coveted weapon is located. Regardless, any of the following additions to V’s arsenal can turn the host of Johnny Silverhand into an unstoppable force.
Where to Find Lizzie in Cyberpunk 2077
Lizzie is an iconic tech pistol in Cyberpunk 2077. The gun fires an extra round each time players pull the trigger, and the number of rounds it fires increases if the weapon is charged up beforehand. When first located, Lizzie will be of rare (blue) quality, containing one scope slot and mod slot. However, the weapon can be upgraded to epic quality, which adds an additional mod slot and increases its overall stats.
Lizzie can be found outside of Judy’s room (in the basement) in Lizzie’s Bar during Act Two. After players complete the mission titled The Space in Between, the tech pistol can be found on the table near Judy’s room.
Where to Find the Legendary Mantis Blades in Cyberpunk 2077
The legendary Mantis Blades are a devastating addition to gamers’ arsenal. For players who take the time to create a build that focuses on blades, such as a Cyberpunk 2077 cyber ninja build, the legendary Mantis Blades are a must-have. With two mod slots and decent buffs, such as an additional five percent crit chance and ten percent more crit damage, players focused on using Blades could go through the entire game just using this monster of a cyber weapon.
Normally, the legendary Mantis Blades in Cyberpunk 2077 can be purchased from a ripperdoc when players have enough street cred and eurodollars (eddies) to purchase them. However, they cost over 100,000 eddies, which is a ridiculous sum when considering players can pick them up for free in the game world. Instead of buying them, gamers should make their way to the Corpo Plaza section of Night City, near the Halsey & MLK fast travel marker.
Here, players should notice a building with a big “09” on it after traveling northeast of the Halsey & MLK fast travel point. Turn left and go down an alleyway (west of the custom marker shown on the map above). Here, there is a cyberpsycho sighting, but the cyberpsycho does not have to be fought and can be kind of tough if players have not leveled up enough to face him. Otherwise, he is fun to engage with the proper level, build, and equipment.
If they are quick, gamers can loot the chest off to the right near some boxes after going down the alley that contains Cyberpunk 2077’s legendary Mantis Blades, and they can get out before the cyberpsycho attacks them. Once acquired, players will have to go to a ripperdoc to install the legendary Mantis Blades, but they are worth the effort.
Where to Find Satori in Cyberpunk 2077
The iconic legendary katana, Satori, is an absolute monster in Cyberpunk 2077. Whether focusing on a build featuring Blades or utilizing a ranged setup, Satori is a crazy addition to V’s collection. Quick and eviscerating, Satori reduces the stamina required to execute attacks by 25 points, increases crit chance by 65% and crit damage by 510%, and increases the chance to apply bleed effects by 20%. Moreover, the weapon’s base damage is insane.
However, Satori is easy to miss, as it can only be obtained (without using glitches) during The Heist main mission. When in Yorinobu Arasaka’s suite, after the major spoiler occurs and players are about to make their escape, going up the stairs in the suite and venturing onto the landing pad will help gamers locate Satori. The legendary katana will be waiting for fans in an AV (transport shuttle) after taking out a few guards. Pick up the sword and have fun.
Where to Find Widow Maker in Cyberpunk 2077
Widow Maker is an iconic tech precision rifle in Cyberpunk 2077. The weapon fires additional rounds when players pull the trigger and has an increased chance to poison enemies. When fully charged, the weapon’s bullet spread is reduced, making the shots more accurate and deadly. Widow Maker comes with a scope slot and mod slot.
Players can find this iconic tech precision rifle during the mission with Panam to get back her car. After finishing the Rocky Ridge section of the mission and given the option to assist Panam with killing Nash, players should take her up on the offer. While fighting Nash and his crew in the mine, killing Nash will cause him to drop Widow Maker; players can pick it up and add it to their arsenal.
If gamers choose not to help Panam exact her revenge on Nash, they can find Widow Maker during the final battle against the Raffens after V gets out of the Basilisk.
Where to Find Overwatch in Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077’s Overwatch is a power sniper rifle. The weapon has increased reload speed and a custom silencer. Moreover, it has one scope slot and four mod slots for players to really amp up its damage output. For those focused on some long-range assassination or some mega damage precision shots, Overwatch is a great choice.
This weapon is easy to obtain and only requires players to complete a side quest involving Panam. Upon accomplishing the Riders of the Storm mission in which V and Panam rescue Saul and take shelter in an abandoned house during a sandstorm, Panam will reward fans with her sniper rifle (Overwatch).
Where to Find the Legendary D5 Copperhead Power Assault Rifle in Cyberpunk 2077
For players looking for some medium-to-close-range gunplay, the legendary D5 Copperhead Power Assault Rifle is a phenomenal choice. However, to wield this weapon, players must be at least level 27. Sporting increased critical chance (27%) and critical damage (55%), as well as electrical damage, shock chance, and a headshot damage multiplier, the legendary D5 Copperhead comes with a scope slot, muzzle slot, and four mod slots. This is a fantastic rifle for Solo builds.
When helping the Aldecaldo Nomads after being introduced to Panam, players can acquire this legendary power assault rifle from a vendor in the crew’s camp. Costing over 100,000 eddies, the weapon is worth the expenditure, and players should have more than enough by the time they have reached level 27 and have spent some time completing side missions, gigs, and random activities around Night City.
