Wolfenstein II provides you with a multitude of ways to wage war against the German invaders and does not hesitate to encourage you to get into action as quickly and enthusiastically as possible. The maps are immersive and each is unique in its own way, really making each level feel like a completely different experience than the last. The bullet physics in Sniper Elite 4 are the main draw to the game, letting players experience kill cams like never before and adding a level of humor to the game.

Sniper Elite 4 delivers a completely new gameplay feature, Invasion mode, allowing you to 'Invade' other people's games and play on the side of the Germans and try to hunt down their character as they attempt to complete a level, of course, other players can also 'Invade' your games and thwart your attempts to complete the level. This adds a completely new level of enjoyment to an already enjoyable game and introduces something completely unpredictable to your gameplay experience. If this is something you would rather do without, you can opt out of Invasion mode completely.

This title rounds off our top 3 because of the endless amounts of ways you can play each level, with completely new and unexplored options available on each playthrough. However, missions can get repetitive, with the main objective often being to eliminate a certain target.

This is a largely multiplayer-focused title, but still has a very interesting and compelling story to follow. Sticking within the borders of Star Wars lore, the campaign follows the story of Iden Versio as she battles internal struggles about the Galactic Empire.

Multiplayer in Star Wars Battlefront II is a truly incredible experience. Players can expect to immerse themselves in playing as a Rebel soldier, a Galactic Stormtrooper, or even playing as a character from the films, like Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker. The incredible visuals, attention to detail, and map design make this a truly enjoyable experience.

At launch, the game received a high amount of criticism for its dubious use of loot crates and microtransactions in order to progress in multiplayer, but this has since been removed entirely and the game can flourish as it deserves to.

Another title set in a world already well known across pop culture, Middle-earth: Shadow of War brings the Lord of the Rings setting to your screens at home and lets you live out your fantasies of taking on the forces of evil. Just missing out on one of the top spots Shadow of War really creates a unique gameplay experience tailored to how you play.

The nemesis system means that as you progress through the world and encounter orcs, and inevitably fight them, new ones will rise through the ranks and remember your actions, meaning that depending on what you do there could be a completely different hierarchy of orcs each time you play. You are also able to gain followers of your own, and build your own orc army to fight the forces of evil that reside in Mordor.

Shadow of War is at its core a hack-and-slash game, meaning that fighting enemies is the main aim of the game. Of course, this is incredibly fun and satisfying gameplay mechanic, and as you play more you gain bigger and more entertaining skills and perks to accomplish this task.

Just 'cause chaos should be the actual title of this game, Just Cause 4 lets the player take control of returning character Rico Rodriguez and lead a rebellion, whilst causing the most amount of chaos possible in order to disrupt the regime controlling the nation of Solís.

Most open-world games can become kind of boring to traverse, but that is absolutely not the case in Just Cause 4. The vast amount of transport options at your disposal makes the game world enjoyable to travel across, mixed with the diverse side missions and bonus objectives dotted across the map means that there is never a dull moment when playing this game.

Whilst the visuals are somewhat lacking, Just Cause 4 is still an incredibly fun and exciting game to play. The story is interesting, and mission types can vary considerably, with interesting characters guiding you along the way. As you play new features become unlocked, making exploration more fun and exciting. It becomes your mission to help free the people of Solis from the regime and help the rebels in their quest to recapture the country and liberate their people. Along the way many wacky and crazy things occur, and create exciting gameplay.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is a tactical shooter set in an open world that really lets you choose how you want to play.

The massive amount of customization options available to players really lets you choose how you approach each mission, either taking out targets from a long distance with a silenced sniper, or taking a more personal approach and using melee weapons for silent takedowns, or even going in hard and heavy with machine guns and grenades. Wildlands is a game focused on delivering the most personal gameplay experience possible, letting you take control and enjoy the game how you want to.

Set in Bolivia, you play as part of an elite squad sent to disrupt and attempt to dismantle a drug cartel known as the Santa Blanca Cartel. Either go it alone and attempt to bring down the cartel alone or squad up with up to three other friends and work together to tactically and strategically take out important members of the cartel. There is a wide variety of weapons and vehicles at your disposal, as well as a huge number of attachments to choose from to tailor weapons to your play style.

Battlefield is a franchise that many will recognize, delivering constant action and excitement throughout. Battlefield 2042 is no exception to this.

The multiplayer experience of Battlefield 2042 delivers an exciting, fun, and thrilling experience. Letting you experience every aspect of modern warfare. Returning to the modern, real-world setting, makes the game feel grounded and brings context to everything that happens as you play. The mix of infantry, ground and air vehicles leads to incredible epic moments that leave your heart pumping, and can only be experienced in a Battlefield title. There are a wide range of maps to play on, bringing different terrain and combat experiences, as well as different weather events which change the gameplay drastically.

When it was released Battlefield 2042 was met with heavy criticism from both fans of the franchise and critics, this led to initial poor performance and EA having to divert resources to focus on improving the game. It is safe to say they were successful in their efforts and we can happily recommend Battlefield 2042 on this list, the improvements and changes to the game have had a dramatic effect and made the gameplay feel familiar to fans of the Battlefield franchise, whilst bringing a breath of fresh air.
