Sex And The City
While the sequel series And Just Like That continues the franchise in some fun ways, Sex and the City fans will surely be excited to see the entire original series coming to Netflix on April 1. Seen as one of the shows that helped define HBO in the early 2000s, the comedy-drama follows Carrie Bradshaw and her three best friends as they navigate the many ups and downs of their romantic lives in New York City.

Demetri Martin: Demetri Deconstructed
Netflix is one of the best streaming services when it comes to stand-up comedy. While there are a number of great comedians with specials this month, likely the most anticipated is the return of Demetri Martin to the standup stage on April 2. The hilariously dry and clever comedian has not released a special in five years and his return to the comedy world is an exciting one given his unique style of humor.
Martin recently struck a deal with Netflix to produce two new specials with Demetri Deconstructed being the first. Ripley
Following his acclaimed turn in All of Us Strangers, Andrew Scott will play a compelling literary protagonist in Ripley on Netflix on April 4. Scott will take on the role of Tom Ripley, the lead character in several novels by the writer Patricia Highsmith. He is a con artist and master manipulator who is also a serial killer always managing to stay one step ahead of being caught.
Ripley is the latest adaptation of Highsmith's most famous Ripley novel, The Talented Mr. Ripley, which was turned into an acclaimed thriller starring Matt Damon as Ripley. Scott is an extraordinary and compelling actor who will be fascinating to see in this complex role as a character who is charming and easy to like only to also prove himself cold-blooded.

Though not necessarily the most well-known series on Netflix, the return of Heartbreak High for its second season on April 11 could see it break through even more. While the critical reception of the first Rebel Moon was likely a lot lower than they wanted, Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver is still a hugely anticipated release coming on April 19. The ambitious project from Zack Snyder is an epic space opera that serves as a retelling of Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. It follows a farmer with a secret past who sets out to recruit a gang of warriors to help protect her village from an oppressive power.
The disappointing reception to the first part surely dampens the upcoming conclusion. However, Snyder is still an exciting filmmaker and it is thrilling to see him operating on a scale this big with it being Netflix's most expensive movie to date. With the story now set up for a more action-packed and interesting conflict, there is still hope for the Rebel Moon franchise.
