High school is definitely tons of fun on television which is why it's the perfect backdrop for teen shows where drama and chaos are inevitable. Sometimes that drama and chaos can be a good thing, while other times it can be a major disaster -- leading to school threats, character deaths, and of course, cheating significant others.

While hardly anyone is lining up to enroll in the historically disastrous Degrassi High School, there are several other fictional high schools that would have a long waitlist to get in. These dream high schools offer a wide variety of positives like teachers who actually care, amazing extracurricular programs, and even stunning locations.

Bayside High School - Saved By The Bell

Saved By The Bell's Bayside High School was one of the most famous fictional high schools in the 1990s when the series was airing, and now that the show has been rebooted, it is becoming popular once again.

Bayside High School would be an amazing high school attend because it is one of the best academic schools in the area. This is proven by the fact that in the reboot it's one of the only schools that Governor Zack Morris kept open in the town. It's also highly advanced, with Bayside High moving to paperless instruction in the reboot.

Capeside High  - Dawson's Creek

Like all the best teen drama series, Dawson's Creek's Capeside High was the dream high school for its fans. The school was located in the beautiful harbor town of Capeside which definitely makes the school more appealing.

However, it's really the excellent academic program that had parents and students (especially valedictorian Joey) excited about Capeside. It's also one of the only schools with an impressive film program that Dawson falls in love with and helps him finetune his filmmaking skills before college.

Creekwood High School - Love, Victor

Creekwood High School first gained considerable attention for serving as the backdrop for Love, Simon, one of the best romantic comedies for young audiencesand now it's also the backdrop for the Hulu original series Love, Victor. 

Creekwood High boasts a lot of benefits that end up outweighing the school's problematic rumor social media app. While gossip is synonymous with high school, Creekwood High students are also extremely open-minded and loyal to their friends. Where else would an entire high school basketball team dye their hair pink in support of one of their teammates coming out?

Dillon High School - Friday Night Lights

Dillon High School is the obvious choice for aspiring football players. After all, getting to be coached by the inspiring Coach Taylor can definitely make or break one's career. It's also a great school for anyone who needs a bit of help with academics, thanks to the brilliant Tami Taylor. Both Tim Riggins and Tyra Collette are proof that a good school and supportive teachers can transform someone's life.

John Adams High School - Boy Meets World

Boy Meets World's John Adams High School is, without a doubt, one of the most popular and one that would have a tremendously long waitlist.

While John Adams High might not be the most beautiful campus, it does offer some of the best and most compassionate teachers of all time. Being able to take a history class with Mr. Feeney could definitely change one's life for the better. After all, Mr. Feeney always had the best quotes of the entire series and managed to guide Corey, Shawn, Topanga, and even Eric to successful lives -- the former of which ended up being a teacher at John Adams High as an adult.

Seven Seas High School - The Suite Life On Deck

Of all the high schools on television, Seven Seas High School definitely offers its students the best setting. Set on a cruise ship, Seven Seas high is the high school from the Disney Channel shows The Suite Life on Deck.

Going to high school on a cruise ship definitely has its advantages. For starters, there is no parental supervision on board which means Zack and Cody get into all sorts of trouble - like sneaking out to attend a burlesque show. Plus, the school regularly involves field trips to various cities the cruise ship docks at like the Galapagos Islands, where Cody is determined to uncover proof that a local sea monster exists. Getting to go to high school and travel the world would undeniably make high school more bearable.

Sherman Oaks High School - Never Have I Ever

One of the newest fictional high schools to gain popularity amongst its fans is Never Have I Ever's Sherman Oaks High School. The school might look like an ordinary high school, but it's the students and teachers located inside that make Sherman Oaks High a dream school.

One of the biggest drawing points to Sherman Oaks is the possibility of befriending Devi, or at least witnessing whatever wild scheme she comes up with next. Attending Sherman Oaks High means witnessing at least one disastrous Devi incident, like when she did a grand gesture apology in season two. The school also has passionate, zany teachers who come up with unique school projects, like turning The Great Gatsby into a mock trial.

Tribeca Prep - Wizards Of Waverly Place

Wizards of Waverly Place is one of Disney Channel's most beloved shows from the 2000s, and it also has a pretty awesome high school setting. Located in New York City, Tribeca Prep is the high school the Russo's attend and the high school fans of the show wished they could go to.

Tribeca Prep has a lot to offer its students, including the possibility of befriending the magical Russo siblings. With the magical siblings in attendance, every day is an adventure like when Alex accidentally summoned a Frankenstein-like girl into her gym class. Unfortunately, Tribeca Prep would need some significant TLC for anyone to attend since it got hit by an asteroid during the show's fourth season.

William Penn Academy - The Goldbergs/Schooled

William Penn Academy serves as the backdrop for not one but two ABC family sitcoms: The Goldbergs and Schooled. It's the perfect high school for students who wish they went to school in the 80s or the 90s.

While William Penn has a beautiful campus, it's really the teachers and wild antics of the students that would make it a great high school to attend. From romantic gestures and epic pranks courtesy of the JTP, to Beverly Goldberg shouting something hilarious and mean at a teacher in the defense of her "schmoopies", there is no telling what one would find while walking the halls of William Penn Academy.
