Memphis Smith from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise has overcome her difficult childhood and now embraces it by sharing old memories on social media. The 35-year-old reality star is known for her romantic journey with Tunisian native Hamza Moknii. During 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5, Memphis and Hamza got married, and she quickly became pregnant. Unfortunately, their relationship didn't last after she returned to the United States and split from Hamza. Since then, the former TLC couple has been in a messy custody battle.
Memphis loves to post her old photos on social media and talk about her difficult past. In August, she shared an old picture to reveal her childhood survivor story. In the photo, the Michigan native looked barely a few months old as her mom held her close with a smile. Memphis revealed how she was a premature baby who arrived a few months earlier than she was supposed to. Fortunately, things worked out in her favor, and Memphis overcame her early childhood hardships with a positive attitude.
Memphis Smith Discusses The Role Of A Father
In June 2022, Memphis shared another one of her old pictures on social media where she was very young, sporting two cute ponytails. In the caption, she talked about how a real "father" goes beyond helping create a child. Memphis also claimed that "actions" are the only thing that proves a person's worth as a father. The 90 Day Fiancé franchise alum concluded her post by adding, "TRUE LOVE and AFFECTION and SUPPORT and CONSISTENCY is what matters!" Sadly, she didn't reveal if she was talking about her dad or Hamza as a father.
Memphis Smith Celebrates Her Success
In March, Memphis shared an even younger picture of herself on Instagram and added, "I identify with 'Rising from Humbling Experiences!'" The photo showed Memphis, who had many iconic fashion moments, wearing baggy clothes and holding a baby in her arms. Her caption read, "No one knows your struggles better than you. No one can say your feelings aren't valid. No one can take away the blessings God gave you." Memphis talked about "Homelessness" and how true compassion helps everyone in all situations. She added, "I KNEW I was destined for! KNOW YOUR WORTH!"
How Memphis Smith Looked Nine Years Ago
Memphis shared a photo from the time she was doing her classes for RN-Associates in 2013. She wrote, "I am so proud to be apart of a career that saves lives! Most importantly I am proud to be an African American Woman in this field." In the photo, Memphis, who works as a phlebotomist, stood among her classmates wearing blue uniforms while showing her ID card. She is clearly proud of her achievement. Memphis may not be a beloved 90 Day Fiancé franchise star, but fans respect her hard work and never fail to praise her for achieving so many milestones.
